And I still dream of the day when I'll get the opportunity to physically sit and learn music from these legends.
Kaushiki ma'am must have gone through a strict baba....but she is lucky that pushed her to her ultimate excellence today...
Whereas here I cry to my dad everyday, to be strict with me, to give me assignments daily , and he would say music is not possible with strictness ... The love should come from within .. I totally agree that.. but as I know very little .. I don't still don't understand what to love and what to expect of myself as my baba is the only person who knows what to expect out of me and how it will happen ❤️... I wish my baba would be strict....
Respect your father, there are millions of daughters and sons who wish that there would be softer and more understanding father for them. Ultimate bliss is found in accepting that you have the best parents possible, because it’s God who has choosen your parents. I find my bliss in thankfulness of what I have. Also that we have sense to understand and enjoy kaushikis music, should not be taken as granted. God bless you 🙏🏽

I’ve been listening to you for as long as you’re singing in the public domain, and I can say with happy conviction that your singing has changed in the past year and a half or so.
It has become much more outside-in, much more inward driven, much more restrained.
To use a Bangla allegory, this change is “aagun thheke aalo”...
These are unmistakable signs of a maestro in the making.
This short Shudh Saarang will remain a beautiful manifestation of that transition.
