One of the best series on UA-cam. Such a wealth of information, love this
I love his personality. Such a bright and bouncy guy.
Another great episode! Would love to see some women photographers make an appearance on the series!
would love to see an 85mm sony street photographer make an appearance on the series! 😎
@@I-SelfLordAndMasterI only want to see black lesbian Muslim photographers
Tyler is a national treasure.
these videos light a ravenous fire inside of me
I felt that when he was talking about being so captivated by certain moments that you forget there’s a camera in your hands lol. But those are some of the best moments when you just get to experience some things with your eyes and not through a lens!
Tyler: “l love the whole process, developing my own film, using my hands…”
Paulie: “you like scanning?”
Tyler: “No”
😂 I can relate.
tyler’s recent medium format landscape stuff is unbelievably good
This series is amongst the best street photography content ever on UA-cam
Great interview and another artist to follow on insta! Thanks for sharing your story Tyler and your approach. You are correct about not letting fear stop you. What's worse...your fear or going home with nothing? Love it!
this series has given film photography youtube new life
these are so much fun to watch! I absolutely love each episode in this series, keep em coming they're sick!!!!
Absolutely love these series!
Keep em comin Paulie, love this series!
Liking this video before I even watch it. You gotta keep these gems coming PB!
This was so great. Love the series, this episode especially.
Love this dudes work.
Really enjoyed this episode, Tyler has such a great attitude and passion for photography which is great to see.
Really enjoyed this one! Love how honest Tyler was about his process and struggles and theories. Great to see someone so transparent about all that stuff!
This was a fun one. Tyler’s personality is fun and genuine and really felt him when he said he gets lost in the moment and forgets to take a picture. I do the same.
Love these videos! Just found your channel today and it super rad to see these different photographers and their style of shooting. Also cool hearing their perspective on how they process their thinking while shooting photos. A lot of it is very relatable.
this probably my favorite episode so far
Another great episode, thanks so much! As regards the skating/ photography topic - I never was (much of) a skateboarder but it strikes me that both look at their surroundings as a playground and will use whatever they see to have fun with it, whether it be steps, fences, railings, benches or what have you. So both experience a total awareness of the present moment which is just the best feeling there is. Well, just about, anyway.
I'm really enjoying this series, I never skip or end an episode, super interesting
I love these, seriously.
This is the best flavor of photography content
I took a lot of photo classes in collage in 2010-2012ish and lived in NY taking street pictures was the most alive I ever felt and some of my best images to this day. Watching this series makes me miss taking pictures and makes me wanna get back out on the street!
Aye yoo 805 represent!!
Another fun and educational episode man.
Awesome content as usual. I enjoy your interaction with your photographer guests cause it allows me to see into their thought processes as they look for a subject to shoot. Btw, this guy is more of a New Yorker than many born and bred NYers. He even walks fast like a NYer😂
Great content as always!
thank you for making this content and opening up a world that has a gate kept facade !! Theres 2 amazing photographers/videographers jolee falcone and john somerville -nyc based that have been capturing the city/brookyln/queens for 10+ years now i think youd get a kick outta them- incredibly down to earth and many hilarious tales
I feel the relationship between skaters and street photographers is, both learn to see the world as an opportunity to artistically express yourself instead of just the path to your destination.
The talk about skate photo echos my experience as well. Hellyea
Love these
Great video Paulie. And it was nice hear the constant staccato of four letter words that some of your guest provide. Also, it was nice to see another Eggleston fan.
VTA represent!
Another great video.
Tyler, thanks for your contribution, really liked it.
Pauli, thanks for sharing
I greet you from a cold Amsterdam !
Good interview. Very interesting. Tyler has a good attitude about this whole thing.
Awesome, Keep it up Paulie B
Fav series! Walkie Talkie with Oscar Diaz would be cool. ✌🏼
Loved this episode!
13:00 Yep, that's how it all starts. I come from a BMX background and that's how I got into filming and shooting photos. Been goin since 2014 and we still climbing!
I dug those fences
the skateboarding analogy is genius
Ventura! I grew up there. Heh.
Good change of pace from busy life when I visit family, but yeah. Small.
Big skater culture there since I was a kid.
I knew a serious innovator who are totally unsung.
Paulie you’re a beast
Tyler seems like the man! Chris Pratt vibes. Great episode as per usual - I've been getting caught up slowly.
what a cool dude 🥰😂
❤ Tyler
Dope, Ventura is nice, i stay in Boxnard.
Loving these videos, I'm going to try and get good enough so i get invited on one day.
yayyy
I love how mellow and easy going Tyler is. It’s obvious he’s just having fun and not worrying too much about it or what he gets at the end of the day.
And Im curious if that rental shop was Dexters..?
Another nice walk. 19:50 is that Andrew Lincoln?
He got a little bit Bruce Gilden Style in his Portrait Shots. Really nice
My guy mentioned OZP! Shout out to a real one.
Ventura! Spent a fair amount of my life there.
Hype
Watching these I am so jealous of Americans. I live in Germany and people treat cameras like handguns. In the US people seem actually happy to be photographed
the 805!
I needed this reminder: "You gotta just shoot, and ask for forgiveness later." - Tyler Woodford
❤
Ventura!!! I find ways to create there. Be surprised what you can find
❤❤
Tryna be like you my dudes😮💨
California 805!

Always get the plastic finders.
They have a lock, that'll prevent this
where are all the pictures?
loved this series. do you have any women street photographers around you? would love an episode with some femmes or queers!
I like a good fence. Tyler Woodford
10:31 - That's why you need to shot colour.

I'm a retired and live in rural England but every evening, thanks to Paulie, I walk the streets of New York City ! Another fantastic video. Thanks guys
I'm English and I live in Poland, and every night I'm walking around New York with Paulie, its the last thing I watch before bed! I love it!
You can also get great photos of rural England, beautiful infact 👍
@@waynethorn7218 But not street photos - unless you have endless time. Street is a numbers game and the numbers don't work outside of big cities, sadly.
