Harbor freight stopped selling it's little chop saw. Anaconda is a replacement saw that is really the same saw. Excellent for cutting down 300 black
I use the same setup for converting 556 brass to 300blk brass. Just a tip, read the directions that come with the jig. You use one of the included screws to tap the center hole of the saw base. You then use the screw to secure the jig to the base. Works like a charm.
The jig is great! I wish I had read the instruction before hand it would have made it much easier lol. Thanks for the comment
Bought one at harbor freight last week.
I like how they dipped the handle in Makers Mark wax.
It wasn't made for that but can be used for such.
Where is this jig? You didn't put it in the description.
As of March 2018 Harbor Fright is carrying them again. I just got mine on April 5 2019. $35.00
Works like a charm.
i bought a Drill Master 2" mini cutoff saw at harbor Freight on December 5th 2015 in Omaha Nebraska for 30 bucks. they have them on their website and you can order them off there.
300 Blackout is a great round for SBR's. Or that seems to be majority opinion. It sure is easier and cheaper than 6.8 or any of the other oddball rounds. I really like that set up a lot. Turn on the music and crank them out.
Hey buddy! The new build will be a pistol with a 8.2 barrel. But I'm going to get a tax stamp for the SBR, because you are right they make a great SBR. What is nice also is with the different weights of bullets I will be able to give the feds a little more money for a can:) I thought about a 6.8 too, that may be something else a little later down the road. I was also thinking about the socom 458. Your where right about how addictive the AR platform is! I got my ear buds all ready for the buzzing.
Addictive is the word. I showed a friend how to put them together. Now he buys parts in bulk. We build em and flip em at gun shows and the local gun trader website. Easy money. He is good at finding parts under cost. So to double money on a build is not hard at all. Heck just a couple things for cool factor like a BAD switch make great selling points. An SBR with a can is the Blackouts home territory. Great CQC to 100 meter round. Its effective further, but that's its playground. Make a good truck gun.
I noticed the cases were just a bit over length after cut. I think that is intentional for chamfering or dead nuts sizing.
Rock on Buddy.
I never thought about maybe building and selling. Under cost is the key! I guess companies like spikes and alike started of that way.
I picked up a necking tool too just in case, heard that some 556 case thickness may cause chambering issues
Its just a matter of spending time on the internet bouncing from one company to another for the deals on parts. Also keeping your eyes open at gun shows and local listings. People hit hard times and sell stuff cheap to keep afloat. We can build a complete lower in less than an hour, so its gotten pretty easy. Also we do some custom touches like color in all the engraving. Red for fire, white for safe etc.
When reloading its seems you can never be too tedious in the steps you take to reach final product. If your patience can handle it do em all. As I am sure you have seen. The consistency shows on the paper down range.
With some obvious modifications, this device would be very useful for those of us who convert .223 brass into 7.62x25mm Tokarev cases.
Harbor Freight is selling their chop saw again for $32.99, this is 2016
HF has these in stock, and with coupon code, it's 27.99 + shipping
I just bought one yesterday at harbor freight for $29.99 , I use mine as an arrow saw
That's a good idea, I guess you cold use it for all types of other application! I really like mine! Thanks for the comment

Where are you an officer at??

I have the Harborfreight unit. It works ok but the plastic is very cheap and over the past few years it has developed lots of stress cracks. It looks identical to yours in the vid (orange). The red lock button also never worked form the get-go.
That red button is more of a pain. I can see why it is there. The new HF saw is going to have a finger guard too. I can see the law suites now that drove the implementation for these safety features. I wounder about the plastic and how long it would last..
"Other than me." That was hilarious man.
I think that the Harbor Freight near me is still selling them. I even thought that I saw them in the adds that I've been getting in the mail. I'll have to double check.
Thanks for the video. How much was the jig that you purchased to do this?
I was told that some of the HF may still have then as old inventory, I checked all of them around my location. If they do have some get some of the coupons and buy them, you could make a return by selling them on Ebay. Folks doing the 300blackout would really like the opportunity to buy them. The Jig was 35.00 shipped. there are some other Jigs on Ebay and Amazon, but the are not the original, a little different too. Thanks for the comment.
I found them as new inventory at my local store. I'll be picking one up soon.
William Todd I guess if they have them for cheap its best to pick one up or even an extra one. It really does a nice job on the cases..
This saw is currently selling for $41 with free shipping, on Ebay.
Does it work? would you buy again? How would it be for woods/plastics?
Harbor freight still sells them .
I just purchased this saw from Amazon. It came with no instructions or the original box. I contacted amazon and hope they send me the instructions. Do you know where I can get a copy of the manual?

It is all fun an games till some one puts an eye out. LOL. SAFETY glasses when using anything that goes around real fast is always a good idea. Even when making you-tube vids. Bought a Drill Master on E-Bay for $35 US a few months ago. It is the same as all the others, mine has a black plastic housing some are orange. I'd be willing to bet the same company in CHINA makes them all. My local Harbor Freight were Out of Stock for a while with no availability date so, E-Bay FTW. Trying out the Squirrel Daddy jig, waiting for delivery from Amazon atm, a little less expensive than the vonzep58 model. Slightly different in design, loads from the opposite side. As long as it works right?! Stay safe.
Thanks for the comment :) Safety all the way :) You have to let me know how that gig works out! There probably is a company in China making them all. They are all identical except color. 35 is a good price! Next thing on my list from HF is there mini-mill :)
survivaleveryday Used the Squirrel Daddy Jig. A little more user intensive. Have to ensure casing is against the stop, keeping a finger on the casing keeps it from possibly getting kicked out, the jig uses the vise of the saw so have to re-align it if you remove it to use the saw for something else (only takes a few seconds anyway). It works though, can do 1 every second and a half or so. Been using it on once fired various brass I got from Diamond K Brass. You don't have to remove the little vise on the saw and the channel holds the cut off end. Comes with a screw stop to prevent saw over travel (which would ruin the jig otherwise). Works well and for a little cheaper. If I had more room I would get the mini lathe at my local HF. Oh well. Cheers.
Where do you find this jig?
Where did you get the tool holder?
I almost shot myself before this video was completed
Rebecca thanks for the comment! I'm not a professional video maker, just sharing my experiences! Please feel free to make some yourself. Once you have made some I think you will realize that your comments are not necessary!
hi can i have the link for the 300 blk out converter thingy??? on ebay
Adrian Fleming Do a search for "Anaconda saw" and you will not only get results for the saw, but for that "thingy" as well.
Can you put an abrasive cut-off wheel on there? i need to cut alot of small diameter (1/4" or less) stainless.
There is very little power in this saw, Not designed for this work. Get a 6" saw
Harbor freight has them again for $32.99 with 6.99 shipping.
Thanks Ken I will get a back up :)
Was this about reloading or the saw........?
Thanks for the comment it's really about the jig and saw! You can make you own brass for reloading! At the time of this video there were not a lot of info on brass or reloading. I did not want to go in to details on the reloading in this video! I felt that folks where still learning about actually powder loads!
Just bought one from the guy, $32.67
please review before videoing. Don't do a live video it is hard to stay with you
Note taken! It's just to show folks about the saw and jig! At the time of the video, 3 years ago 300 was newish and not a lot of info was out there! I found this jig and saw! Just wanted to share!!
harbor freight is an importer of Chinese made tools
I don't think they have ever made anything
Maybe a re-furb?
