Lekker!
Someone wanted this video translated, so I tried (I'm not that good at it, apologies). I will also post this here for future people. [The Intro]: Welcome to the second to last training mission from kamp van Koningsbrugge, but an important mission. Because we are going to talk about how you stay calm in a stressful situation. A tool that we use for it is tactical breathing. Tactical breathing, what is it? You can also call it deliberate breathing or just breathing. It is a tool to get a your heart in a low heart rate. Imagine you leave the gate of the base camp, going towards a forgein city or a forgein location where you have never been before. On this mission, you find yourself checkpoints. At these checkpoints there are guys or people with weapons that want everything from you. They point their weapon at you, and they can be very agressive towards you. You don't speak their language, so you don't really know how to handle the situation. It is very important here that you keep your head cool and that you keep yourself calm. [A Recap on how to]: Man wears a heart band to measure his heart rate and he can see that on his wrist wearable. A heart band has better accuracy than a watch. It takes a full minute to focus on the breathing, to get the heart beat as low as possible. This is done by breathing four seconds in through the nose, and four seconds out through the nose. He's first doing exercises in getting his heart rate up to his personal red zone, and after that he's going to lower his heart beat by using the tactical breathing technique. He is slightly bent over, bent on his knees. It is a good stance to get your breathing back under control. Of course in a real situation yiu can't do this, but for exercise for breathing and getting your heart rate low it is a good position.
