That made me laugh out way too much, especially as a German. So thanks for that!
Definitely gotta visit this Museum when i'm in Prague one Day. Been through all over Europe and even other Continents, but the only Time i've been to Czechia was in the late 1990s to buy Fireworks at the Bordertowns that weren't "ok" in Germany haha. I'm sure many Germans from Bavaria etc. can relate.
Either way, i also hope to see Ian get to dive into the insane Gun Collections of the "Militärisches Museum der Bundeswehr" in Dresden and especially the "Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung" in Koblenz here in Germany.
Lots of freaky Prototypes and 1 of 1 and other insanely rare Guns!
Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps

Bohemia truly does have a phenomenal gun history. Czechs (hussites) were the early adopters of military firearms and so to say, they also established the long tradition of guns being the great equalizer. Ever since noble knights got btfoed by hussite pistalas, the warfare wasn't the same.

Very nicely set up with some interactive and descriptive things but a ton of actual guns and artifacts as the main display. This is the kind of museum I really enjoy. Oddly enough I didn’t happen to see a vz. 24 or other Czech Mausers but I’m sure they are there.
There is a local museum, nothing exceedingly impressive but it has some pretty neat items for what it is. I was apprehensive when I heard they redid the firearms section but they actually managed to make it better with basically drawers and pocket door type displays you can pull out and get about as good of a look at the guns from a number of angles and close enough to see markings without having actual hands on them. I was impressed.

Wow that place is unbelievable! North American museums definitely don't offer anything to that level for content (sadly!).
Also, TBH that 18 minutes went by / felt super quick I was so interested, probably didn't have to be so fast ;).
Thanks Ian, keep up the great work man!

Totally agree with Ian. Prague is a super beautiful city with a lot of cool museums. I personally visited this weaponry museum about 2 years ago, but I didn't remember "cold war" era section. If you have a chance to visit Prague , don't miss it!

I was here with school a year or two back since we had a great economy teacher who wanted to broaden our view in other ways. We had a very nice presentation about propaganda the way it works and so on. I still have a printout of one the posters that we received to analyze. It is a wonderful place.

That 12:03 Suomi si btw Slovak or Croatian contract, MG-34 for Israle is post war production, not refurbishment, at least in most cases, but the war ones probably all served in the post-war army together with post-war MG-34s, as well as post-war pre-war CZ machine gun types.

(13:56) The gun on the left second from top has folding magazine that folds under the barrel and along with collapsible stock you conseal it pretty good. For shooting youjust flip out the mag so it locks and you can fire.
The one right in the middle ZB47 is interesting, the magazine is inside the sort of diagonal frame-looking part of the gun, and you shoot by having a thumb in the big ring, trigger finger in the small trigger hole above the magazine. Very unwieldy having a magazine between the trigger finger and the rest of the fingers but it's an interesting design.
I got to held them on event held by VHU in Lešany that's every year. And when I held them I remember thinking what would Ian think about them.
