Cool and warm colours makes Different shades and such, it makes you be able to blend Different types of colours. Color theory is the way to go if you want to learn proper color mixing

There is no way that these paints are made with these pigments. At $10 USD it’s most likely made with dyes. Almost all of these colors have poor lightfastness ratings and should only be used in sketchbooks or student work.
I bought the 8 color watercolor set. The tray is removable but nothing underneath. People put Prang down but they're a very professional company. I also color with Crayolas, Crazart,and Royal and Langnickel.

Yung refills, I got it from M. Enriquez Art Supply. Meron din sa mga local art stores yun nga lang depende sa branch and usually yung basic colors lang wala yung special colors

Para sa kin never ko nagamit yung white kaya pinalitan ko ng magenta. Kasi if for example gusto mo gumawa ng pink, ndi mo naman kelangan ng white. Red lang yun na sobrang konti tapos mas marami yung water.
Nope hindi sya nagda dry. This is because of the type of binder na ginamit. I believe it's a honey based binder kaya it will remain moist for a very very long time. Oonga pala kung ilalagay mo muna sya sa storage NEVER store it nang patayo. Always horizontal or pahiga. Dahil kasi semi moist sya nagdi drip pa rin sya kahit na naka storage lang.

@@pastel6175 meron akong nakita sa NBS pero selected branches lang. May nakita ako noon sa SM North pero matagal na kong hindi nagagawi dun not sure kung meron pa rin. Basic colors lang meron.
I learned that the red violet pan is a mixture of magenta and some kind of purple. Sa ngayon muna, gumagamit ako ng light wash of red violet, at kakaunting red to make it pink. But I would look forward na maibili ko ang magenta para palitin ang white pan ko. Okay lang sana ang white pero dumidilaw siya. I wish lang na, in the future, may yellow ochre or tan color ang Prang. I know na wala pa silang yellow ochre o tan, pero nakakatulong ang kulay na yan.

Even I learned something from you 😊. So far as for the yellow ochre or tan I don't think they will have those... It's been years and they haven't come up with other new colors. I think it's because this is made for students so it's more of a learning tool to mix your own colors.
i always found that shitty red/purple in the prang set was a waste of space for a magenta.. they should have just made that purple the extra color not included

You can paint thick with it and use it like acrylic and oils

Para sa kin, mas importante yung violet kesa sa white. As for the set naman, go for the full set of 16 kesa 8 colors. Mas lugi ka sa 8 colors.

I have a prang set I have had 20 years and it does not dry out. Mine is still the same consistency it was when I bought it for 9th grade art.

Hmmmm.... I think the Prang set can't make a bubble gum pink. Bubble gum pink is a neon color. Although alam ko may neon set si Prang

Hindi naman sya madaling maubos kasi dapat very light lang ang pag gamit
Kung mag ka-calligraphy ka, you will need a more opaque and solid paint like gouache or poster color.
rinecommend lang kasi sakin to ng friends ko na magaling mag callig with watercolors, ito yung gamit nila.
