Thanks for producing this great video. I grew up playing with a serious baked clay set of balls. About 10 years ago I bought a moderately-priced set but within months, they distorted and began to disintegrate from moisture. Shopping and researching this week, it's almost like baked clay or wooden bocce balls never existed! Why is there no discussion of these old-school materials (baked clay, solid wood). If those materials are horrible or simply obsolete, maybe it would be good to discuss that in a review video like this. But I REALLY appreciate your doing this video. Thank you!

i agree tyler tyler. but while buying bocce sets may be relaxing, playing bocce is very similar to fighting in war

The steel balls are for the game of Petanque which is tossed from a ring, not from behind a line. Throws are underhand like Bocce but palm down and game play is much more aggressive. Spotting is tossed short and then rolls to target and shooting is airborne all the way to the target. There is no shooting in Bocce as the balls will crack or break.

hello haynedle, I was curious about the type of grass you used in the video. im sure as you know, the friction of the grass is detrimental to the overall success of an accurate roll, and i typically use St. Augustine for my tournaments. How does the difference in greenery change the impact of play? Thank you for your time.
    Bocce

I have a Bocce Ball Set with the 107mm size balls , i went on Google and out of curiosity search to see about 115mm Bocce Ball set for sale , and that is fairly hard to find , or for me , and some that had them for sale would say out of stock are those fairly high in demand ?
