Get your goats from a reputable show breeder next time. Blue Cactus Dairy Goats, for example. They vaccinate, ear-tag, register and hand-deliver their kids all over the country each year.
As a breeder myself (it’s for hobby and milk) this breeder is absolutely in the wrong. She basically scammed you into getting a grade goat, that’s ridiculous; for anyone who isn’t aware, registered goats can be very pricey and I have no doubt that you paid a lot for this pretty buckling. He should have never been sent off without his CD&T vaccines and a dewormer due to worm bloom during stressful situations. Also, watch for coccidia. No doubt he’s been through lots of stress and coccidia thrives through things like that. I hope everything works out for you and the papers comes through!!💖
Thank you for watching! I agree with you a 100% he just finished his coccidia treatment a few days ago, so he is good on everything now. I hope she comes through with his papers, but I’m afraid it’s not going to happen.
It sounds like you are getting all the advice and who to turn to... Thank you for making the vid, it makes me feel better that I am not the only person that gets scammed... not that its good you did.... Lol, yes. Just bug and bug and bug. Hey, have you gotten his mom registered? Do it weekly. Then twice weekly. Just keep bugging. It ISN'T that hard to get your goats registered. My sister has NDGs and she has never had an issue getting her kids registered in a timely manner (meaning by the time they're weaned).

Just found your channel and have started binge-watching. Looks like it's been more than enough time that she should have gotten things squared away. I saw in a previous comment that you're thinking about making another video with the farms name. I know you're hesitant to do so, but you've given her ample opportunity to make things right, and have been super nice doing so. I have been saving up money and plan on starting a little homestead at the end of the year. And I'd be beyond livid if I went through this. So you'd be doing a service to the community by telling everyone your experience along with who the breeder is. Definitely a frustrating situation. Especially with her attitude and trying to act like you're the problem with her little "I don't know what the big deal is" comment. Yeah, it's a pretty big deal. That's your hard-earned money that you paid for something you were promised and didn't get. Glad you found a new home for him. He did look like a beautiful buck.

No papers, but paid me the money I lost from the sale of Traveler. I promised I would take the video down.. so I did out of respect.
This breeder you are talking about sounds a lot like one that I know of, and if so, then I know the reason you have had this trouble. Could I ask what state this breeder is from?
I love them! I plan on buying a goat from them in the future! I actually got to meet them both at the National goat show and you would have thought I was meeting Brad Pitt 😂
I love her so much! I actually got to meet her and Derek at Nationals last year! My goal is to eventually buy a buck and doe from her. I learn so much from her channel. Thanks so much for watching!
Really bummed about what you went though, we always have our dams and bucks papers for a buyer to view, our wee ones go off the ranch totally people kids, we start on mom and finish thier weaning on a bottle. And to tell you the truth we drove 10 hours up spent the night and drove 10 hours home to get our original girls already preggers to start our herd the buck is we used comes to our ranch to spend a couple of months being the love god.. we sold all his kids last year so extremely lucky to be able to use him again.. A good breeder especially when working with bloodlines are for the most part have our noses so deep in it that you get everything from pictures to behaviour traits before you even buy one. Look for those types of breeders. But he is a sexy looking guy lol.

Calling her out would help others not to support someone that is a liar and get done the way you were done. Maybe it will even stop her from doing this to others. I want to know for the simple fact I'm growing my herd and there having been many in our area that have scammed others.
Do you plan on breeding show goats to sell in the future yourself? Thanks for sharing your experience and advice with us. I've yet to start my goat adventures but look forward to it, and want every piece of advice I can get!
I do plan on selling in the future, but right now just trying to grow my herd. Not all breeders are like this one. Be sure to ask the right questions, and if they don’t answer or skip over your question just move on. Your gonna love having goats.. mine bring me such joy! Thank you for watching!!
I have been a VICTORIAN BULLDOG and Pomeranian dog breeder for over 17 years and I'm telling you this is BS !!! She new exactly what she was doing and is a very unethical person. You should help others by telling her name and the transporters name so others don't get this crap . She scammed you and you will not get the papers. Or she will send you paperwork that does not really goto your goat The problem is you asked all the right questions and she lied and new she was living to you and didn't care
Not in Nigerian dwarf goats. His dam still isn’t registered. If both parents were registered and you just needed a DNA test to see who the sire is then… yes. She didn’t tell me she hadn’t register his dam or I wouldn’t have purchased him. nor has she every reached back out to me to make things right. It’s been 7 months.
No way was this your fault. It was 100% the breeders and the transporter‘s fault. They both should’ve been upfront with you but they didn’t care. They just wanted to make a buck. I’m sorry they lied to you. You how much more patient than I would’ve been. I hope it all works out and she actually registers the dam. Always make sure to vet transporters on your own. They must be USDA certified also. That poor goat, did they send you any feed to transition him?
Oh wow your going to be waiting for a long time I sent my goats apps In and I’m still waiting for the there paperwork. They have had three babies and they need registered and tattooed.
@@sweetolafarms1307 I sent mine in in April they had babies. I’m not having good luck with this But I got beautiful goats and love all them. Good luck to you.
As long as they send you the Duplicate you can still show them until they can get you the actual papers. Hopefully ADGA will get it all straightened out soon! Do not nature him straight away. If you do and the papers do come in you will be so cross with yourself. I wonder who the breeder was. I wonder if it's the same breeder who takes the babies from the mother's at 2 days?
Thank you for watching! No, his breeder let his mother raise him. That’s why he is a little skittish. I like to bottle raise them myself. Tames them down.

None of this is your fault! How would it go down if you would have said send me the goat and I don’t know what the big deal is you will eventually get the money. Duh!
I know right! She wouldn’t have went for that. I was under the impression he was coming with his application. Or I wouldn’t have purchased him. Let me tell you he wasn’t cheap plus transport cost. I did find him a new home and I’m in the red on that deal. He has a great home tho.

I did make a video letting everyone know what farm did this, and two weeks after I posted it she was reaching wanting to make things right, and she did. No papers, but paid me the money I lost from the sale of Traveler.
I promised I would take the video down.. so I did out of respect.
Thanks for watching!
What does transport problem have to do with beware of a goat breed?
That poor little goat you can see he has TRUST ISSUES…..The animals are the 1 who suffer he’s got a good home now…..
This breeder you are talking about sounds a lot like one that I know of, and if so, then I know the reason you have had this trouble. Could I ask what state this breeder is from?
That cage is too small for that poor baby!
Nope not blue cactus dairy goats.. if crystal and Derrick said they'd be there they'd be there. No fucking around w them
I love them! I plan on buying a goat from them in the future! I actually got to meet them both at the National goat show and you would have thought I was meeting Brad Pitt 😂
I hope it works out for you. It just seems like such a big thing to be so nochalant about. He's a pretty little thing though.
Thank you! I hope so too! She has never once said I’m sorry… just acts like I’m the problem. Thank you for watching! He is a cute little guy!
Crystal from Blue Cactus Dairy goats is wonderful goat dealer and she has beautiful goats . watch her on youtube . she is highly recommended.
I love her so much! I actually got to meet her and Derek at Nationals last year! My goal is to eventually buy a buck and doe from her.
I learn so much from her channel. Thanks so much for watching!
Just start an unregistered line.
Thank you! It was a crazy situation to be in. He was sweet little guy. We did find him a new home that’s raising unregistered goats. He is a happy little buck. Thanks for watching!
Pretty colors
This story could have been a lot shorter.
You should name of the breeder that’s not Fair to you or honest she could do that to someone else you should name her
Thank you for watching! I just want her to do the right thing. I don’t want to call her out just yet.
@@sweetolafarms1307 I look forward to watching more in the future!
Where are you miss you lots. Hope you did not quit.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
So not fair. Unfortunately, another backyard breeder that con's people.
Its not your fault. You trusted a con.
It’s a mess. Thank you for watching!
Or she will send you paperwork that does not really goto your goat
The problem is you asked all the right questions and she lied and new she was living to you and didn't care
Is there not a goat breeding association that you can report this breeder to
There is an Association, but it doesn’t handle things like this. Thank you for watching!
Never buy sight unseen. You have to go to the breeders farm , look the place over and inspect the rest of the herd.
I fall to sleep..
Omg!!! This is absolutely ridiculous… people like this hurt us great breeders. CLM FARM
you can still register him without paperwork you have to do the DNA test I’m doing it now with my two
Not in Nigerian dwarf goats. His dam still isn’t registered. If both parents were registered and you just needed a DNA test to see who the sire is then… yes.
She didn’t tell me she hadn’t register his dam or I wouldn’t have purchased him. nor has she every reached back out to me to make things right. It’s been 7 months.
It’s not your fault you asked questions she just lied and her answers.
She did. And keeps making excuses.
Blue cactus dairy goats? Crystal is the best
Thank you for watching! I just got my stamped duplicate back. It took 9 days. I still haven’t gotten the hard copy back.
@@sweetolafarms1307 I sent mine in in April they had babies. Called the ADGA they say they are back loaded I paid extra to get it moving and now I have 5 babies that are still not registered the mother and father with temporary. Plus the babies are show quality. There beautiful
The breeder is great but getting them registered is a pain in the butt. Next year we have to send DNA on our males that’s going to be fun I just started my heard I have a total of 5 adults + there 5 babies. Oh I’ll never have a vet disbud them again they screwed that up. I’m not having good luck with this
But I got beautiful goats and love all them. Good luck to you.
As long as they send you the Duplicate you can still show them until they can get you the actual papers. Hopefully ADGA will get it all straightened out soon! Yeah, the breeder I got my first buck from used a vet for dehorning and he has a scar now. They mean well they just don’t know what they are doing. I hate dehorning myself 😩
I’m sure sending in DNA will cause another hiccup 😩
@@sweetolafarms1307 I know it’s going to cause a big mess. I got 5 males I have to send in for DNA. 😭 I’m going to learn how to burn the horns off Blue Cactus has a good one. But I hate doing it too. I know it has to hurt I heard mine screaming they sink for days This is hard stuff
If she hasn’t registered the dam by now she never will. Call her out if you want. She did you no favours so why do her one.
What ever happened with this guy?
so this is a people problem not a goat problem?
Because of the breeder I can’t use this little guy in my breeding program if I don’t get his papers. Which I don’t think will happen at this point. Thanks for watching!
I believe you asked all the right questions and you still got messed around. I won’t buy from her. Thank you 😮
Thank you for watching!
Bad breeder
I agree! Thanks for watching!
I really hope those goats are not caged up like that 24 hours a day. If so, that is pretty disgusting of you.
You’ve obviously not watched my channel..
That's important for goat breeders that want quality bucks to breed w the girls.
I'm hoping it's not Crystal
Oh no, it’s not with Crystal! She is amazing!
This is how rumors get started and you shouldn't call out a person's name who works her ass off, has amazing ethics.
The REAL Seller needs to be addressed ASAP so innocent people aren't hurt by this or don't post these types videos because of this if you're not calling out the real seller.
Your right, I spoke outta turn. I hope it can be resolved for you.
Sounds like she was breeding her own does with your buck.
Wow.. such bad buisness all round.. that poor boy but he's beautiful...I'm sorry u got this beautiful boy an he worthless to ur particular program an farm... such awful buisness.. it's why folks gotta be so careful ..have them upload u there registrations by email absolutley before venmo paying from here on can't trust anyone sadly..
It really is sad and terrible situation. Thanks for watching!
Sorry but I think you’ve been had. Like myself you are too trusting but in these times you can’t be too careful. Maybe report her to the ADGA.
It is important to adopt from a reputable farm, with a clean tested herd.
Moon spots are popular. Don't be blinded by them. Spots don't milk.
Yes, I learned the hard way here. I found him a new home, that wants Nigerian dwarf, but don’t care if they are registered.
@@sweetolafarms1307 awww, glad he found a home. If you haven't gotten back the purchase premium you paid for his papers, you could dispute the charge on PayPal or your bank and ask for the difference back.
What a bummer ☹️
Yes… BIG bummer! Thanks for watching!
He might not be registered yet but Hes a Purebred still worth alot of money
He is purebred, but without papers I can’t register any of his future kids. So fingers crossed his papers come in.. thank you for watching!
No way to prove he's pure without papers. I'm not sure you're price for him but I've paid up to 1500 for 1 goats and it's frustrating for sure. I hope it's not the same farm I bought from. Communication was poor but I eventually got papers for my 3.
So sorry!
You can get him DNA tested. Horrible she and the transporter are shifty. Good luck! Love from CA.
Thank you for watching! I did find him a new home. The terrible breeder never sent me his application so I could register him.
Your title states that there's a problem with the breed. 🤔🙄🙄
Not the breed. The problem was with the breeder who scammed me.
@@sweetolafarms1307 , perhaps the title should read " Beware of Nigerian Dwarf Goat Breeder"
Did you get the registration yet?
1st world problem.
What!! Why are the good looking guys gay..🙃
😂🤣 you crack me up! It bees like that 😂🤣
None of this is your fault!
You make him to friendly he can hurt you in rut
I prefer my bucks to be bottled raised. They are easier to handle in my opinion, and this little guy was raised by his mom, but he is getting more use to me everyday.
That's a really bad breeder.
“I discussed it with my husband…”
On to the next video
Ok
