Martha Karua, renowned for her legal expertise and advocacy for human rights, expressed concern over the continued detention of Dr. Besigye, insisting that the Supreme Court's ruling must be respected and that the government should uphold the principles of justice. The lawyers are firm in their call for Dr. Besigye's immediate release, arguing that his detention under military court jurisdiction is unlawful.
