Hey Alan input shaft bearing in the trans is your problem.. your going to need a new transmission or a rebuild sadly. here is how to tell the difference, a throwout bearing will make noise when your clutch is pressed down. and input shaft bearing makes noise when your off the clutch pedal. good luck and keep making videos man

Yeah either way your going to have to drop the transmission and pull it apart so the choice is up to you. just replace one bearing and check everything like Brian said
Probably done 10+ drift days on a gearbox making the same bearing noise, gearbox is still going after I sold the car.

Allen easiest way to get rid of that dent in the rear quarter - stuff a deflated football (or a block of foam) in between the strut tower and the sheet metal to keep pushed out!

Don't know if it's been said already or not, haven't read the comments lol but the noise you're hearing is either your throw out bearing or your input shaft bearing. More than likely input shaft bearing because TOBs usually squeak when worn unless it's REALLY BAD. I also have the same problem with my car lol.

That looks like the smoothest drift car ever
Not sure if you didnt figure out already, but the sound in neutral with open clutch is pretty sure due to worn bearings on the transmission input shaft. You open the clutch, the trans input slows done, stops -> no noise. Close it again -> noise.

i had a similar noise in my subaru.. my issue was the release bearing in the trans..
Hey Alan the throw out bearing would make a knocking sound when the clutch is depressed but be silent when your foot is on the clutch. I have the same problem with my Z33
Enkei does make a truck version called the RPT-1
That whirring noise is definitely coming from your throwout bearing. The T56 is known for have a throwout bearing and transmission that is a little on the noisier side.

and it is the throwout bearing just changed mine in my 02 5.7 ls1 for my vert had a bad throwout bearing and slave Cylinder
My throw out bearing makes the exact same noise. I thrash it and have never had a problem. Apparently aftermarket ones make a lot of noise in the LS
If you would widebody IT what kit would you use? I think some small overfenders would looks sick(Pat Goodin's kit)

It's the throw out bearing bro... I had same issue with my 79 f100.. until I changed that bearing it went away

from my experiece aftermartket flutches make that noise. my brz does it since day 1 of putting in the new clutch.
Hey man I'm from Nebraska and that O Drift Collective sticker is from the drift events we have. You should try and make it out sometime. It's pretty lit.
Ask Adam lz about the funny clutch sound, i think he had the same noise on his last clutch.

They are probably a32 cefiro/maxima tie rods. Thats what we run in nz on all our s13/14/15

maybe a stupid question, but do you know what is needed or how to get what is needed to install an ac kit on the ls1 to the s13. I'm needing to know because I just bought an s13 with the same 2004 gto ls1 swap but need to put ac in as it is street daily/drift car. also from watching another video of yours, you also are using HP tuners. i am wondering if maybe we can get in touch somehow because i'm new to all this and would like the help- both for ac and hopefully how to use HPtuners. thank you
