he saw a naked starving dead body not just once but atleast twice in two different Indian cities Hyderabad and Bangalore. Meanwhile, I lived in India for 25 years did not see a naked starving dead body my entire life. this guy is truly racist, not just based off of this.
he also has ill informed racist opinions about the caste system and the fact that it affects jobs hiring in the US (it does not). Unlike the color of one's skin, there is no way to know what someone's caste is especially for modern indians given the caste system was explicitly abolished almost 80 years ago as soon as India gained independence.

It's not just Indians. There's video of fresh Chinese immigrants in the US, taking a ton of food from a food bank. Then bragging online how they don't have to pay for food in America. Despite having good jobs and living in a nice house. A lot of immigrants are like this. They think they're clever by undermining the trust society has in people. It's certainly upsetting to say the least.

America and its rules were written with God fearing, Christ loving Europeans in mind and without that being your base group people America no longer holds those ideals. European people developed their own distinct culture around Christianity that allows for an unspoken trust to exist. where in non Christian non European neighborhoods in our countries cannot even replicate that for themselves because it’s not in their nature.

Pretty sure most of Canada, immigrated from other parts of the globe. Let’s not look too far into Canada’s history of colonialism, ethnic cleansing and the church. Of the Canadian government, are having to bring in labour from the other side of the world, a developing nation, then the blame to lay on the Canadians themselves. Why are they not getting married, having more children, taking on the jobs, offered to migrants.

I’m an Indian Muslim and grew up in a village with a high-trust society. When I went to big cities outside my town, I felt the same way. I’m sorry you had bad experiences, but India is too big and culturally diverse to generalize. Unfortunately, the caste system has contributed to many negative behaviors. I used to see these behaviors and think that certain caste groups acted like animals. I feel bad about it now, but it was the reality I witnessed, similar to how gypsies are stereotyped in the West.

From India, we do have our problems, but so do America. We have a 1.5 billion population, and a vast array of regions and cultures. Your personal experience, unfortunately, might have been true, but it does not represent the whole of India. India is a developing nation and things are progressing towards a better society rapidly! Also, the H-1B program is unfair to begin with, our people do go to the USA in search of better opportunities, agreed, but they also add a lot of value to the US society. The H-1B does not allow them to settle in life, as they always have a risk of cancellation of visa and the sponsor employer is not always good. I think, America needs to reform it's laws rather than commenting on people from other countries. By the way, we also feel scared going to America because of all the violence and gun crimes. We keep on hearing of horrific gun violence on children in schools in America. It's a sad state of affairs. Where is a country headed that cannot protect its own children from gun crime. Please look at your reflection in the mirror and improve your own society first.

Every breed of people had their gene pool carved by the forces of history.
There'a different average personality, social and psychological traits. It's easy to breed for intelligence/creativity, just use former child prodigies as sperm and egg donors.

I am a Indian living Abroad. At first I agreed with each and everything you said because I feel the same about my country. I want to convey some things about India that some people from outside may not understand.
First of all. There is a lot of poverty in India, Yes that is a fact. But understand also that there are 1.4 Billion people in that country. It is a world of its own. Its 4.1 times the USA and 36.3 times the Canada. Most of the people migrating abroad are not the people you see on the streets. They are fairly stable people to afford such a expense of going to abroad. Its like saying, "USA is a third world country because I saw a lot of homeless people while walking in a shady street in New York".
India is way too diverse to be even called a single country. No kidding. The food and people change every 20Km. In history books, they sometimes even call it a subcontinent.
Defining a country "Low trust society" and other "High trust Society" especially in the case of India makes me laugh. It difficult to explain that to a person, who travels from USA to UK and meets people with same culture. It is hilarious for them. The failure to understand that, is what makes them uncomfortable when meeting a culture from other world.
Well to all the racists here, Americans or not. And who are trying to validate themselves by poking a country going through one of her worst time (Poverty, education and unemployment). I wanna say "God bless you". Because for them "valid reasoning" is out of question, they are just trying to please themselves.
India got its problem, but poking that country and its people and saying they are "unhygienic" is what makes these people even worse people. The people just happen to be born in a privilege country and think they are superior. See humanity as one, stop diving.

There's even deeper layers. We are all one people regardless of geography or any other metric.
What we share in common spiritually, at the deepest level, we share to varying degrees materially.
Regardless of geographic origin, no one is born into privilege, we are all born into an abstract legal prison of some variety or other.
The big difference that differentiates humanity lies in which wealth we pursue, material or spiritual. Both options have innumerable paths that often overlap.
Materialism is a void path. So those pursuing that path may appear to have a greater privilege than those who don't even have the option to pursue it, but it remains void.
Regardless of condition, the path of Being is available to all who seek it. That is wealth.

I have lived in India for 6 years now and I've experienced something very different from what they said, although I'm aware this is also there. In my view the main problem here is the very low self-esteem indians have coupled with their absurdly low understanding of their own culture (as seen here in the comments). What we have now is not "the Indian culture". It's a very corrupted version of what it once was. There is abundant literature available for those who bother getting informed.

@Balaskovits29 in many places - a rigid caste system at points , but I think western colonialism that made indians undervalue themselves was really the worst thing that happened.
India shifted away from its core and joined the western rat race of material and consumerism
Of course , over population is another huge trigger point for poverty.
But no society is perfect and those who truly know Indians would know that Indians are non aggressive and treat guests like God's
So I think one of these guys would have really done something to put off his indian counter parts if they treated him badly
Also , they would have thought they were being kind and sharing their reality openly with him , not realising that he was judging them.
Which makes him seem rather petty and ungrateful
Poverty or being poor isn't sin

Poverty in India, both in terms of material wealth and mindset, is really tied to their religion, philosophy, and the way things get passed down through generations. The whole cast system is super outdated, but a lot of people still follow it, even though it often keeps them stuck. It's like they're constantly being taught the same things that don’t lead to better results, just because it’s what’s always been done.
I’d say that mindset poverty is the main cause of material poverty, more than any outside forces

India has religious and ethnic diversity. So governments have struggled to create a system for standardization. There has been a history of famine which almost exclusively hurts the lower Hindu casts and other poor illiterate groups. This where the scarcity of food, material goods comes from. Unlike the USA where the mindset of "if you work hard you can succeed in America", the Indians live in an even more competitive and class conscious society. Many have little trust in State, Federal or private institutions and businesses. This is why bribery flourishes. So Indians put their family unit first and socially cultivate relationships with their equals or if given a chance their socially advantaged.

Wow! Spot on with the analysis. As an Indian living in India and well travelled. I always wondered how the heck is western society so prosperous? We love blaming the west for our state especially Britain, although its been more than 7 decades they left us. Some of the very late independent countries are way more advanced and economically well off than us.
India is a place where Fraud is flaunted as intellect (its codified as Chanakya neeti in religion), and Oppression is shown off as Strength and Dignity (the premise of Hinduism is the caste system where one race is inferior than the other). So, yeah, what can go wrong?

Constitution, America's is robust and mindful of the human condition - historically upheld in a nearly religious manner.
Where a constitution is anemic and or allowed to be superceded by corruption you get countries like what you see in the "third world".
Britain has always been classist, so what you get despite all it's historical ritches is the shithole it's becoming. It's why Canada despite it's distance from Britain and wealth is falling to it's mother's traps, it's constitution is weak.
The mirroring of these failed and failing states you see in America these days is partially due to poor immigration policies, greed, corruption etc. but the underlying cancer is the lax enforcement and reverence for it's shining constitution.
