I went on a similar ride at the Canadian National Exhibition about 15 years ago. That had to be the scariest 10 minutes in my entire life. No way am I going on a ride that swings you over 400 feet with only a few measly chains and a sucky restraint system. I value my life.
WHY WOULD ANY BODY WOULD GO ON 🌟 STARFLYER AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO TYRE SAMPSON FREE FALL DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THESE RIDES ARE NOT SAFE THEY ARE RUN BY THE SAME COMPANY ALL 3 OF THOSE BIG RIDES THE ONES ARE SIDE BY SIDE .
@@supernoodle... actually the crew members altered the harness making adjustments for larger riders. When Tyree sat in his seat they never triple checked to make sure not only him but everyone on the ride is secured in their seat before lifting the ride. With the seat being altered that Tyree was on it set the lights off on ride assuring the safety light on. But all they really needed was a $20 seat belt to hold him in. He be still alive today. Condolences to his parents and family and friends. Gone far too soon. Tyree may you forever R.I.P
Y’all don’t have respect for the 14 year old boy dies from a free fall high ass ride does that mean anything anyway I think it’s unfair That y’all only just have rides for skinny people and y’all have death wishes on y’all hands y’all keep creating these high ass rides y’all still don’t learn y’all lesson after what happen last year and this year it’s very sad that y’all don’t know how to just make ground rides very sad y’all just don’t care about peoples life
What does that poor boy have to do with this? The people who manage the place didnt stop him from going on the ride because the limit was 265 I think it was and he was 345 i think so, I hope the ride doesnt keep going because that poor boy didnt derserve it, but he isnt the only one who died on rides, people will still make rides like this no matter what, it's called life, but your right and wrong, also a lot of people care. Also, they have rides for over-sized people but theres a limit to it and they should of told him, but sadly they didnt.
Starflyer is the scariest ride I have ever been on...
The lack of restraints to keep a person from coming out is a little crazy. STAY SAFE.
This has two restraints what are you talking about

You do realize how safe these rides are? You’re literally more likely to die on a pogo stick than one of these.

I don't think you understand how ride restraints work...
After what happened and things I wouldn't feel comfortable getting on anything this big so I understand and imagine if Tyree did get on a swing ride
Firs of all that happened on a drop tower not a stair flyer and it only happened because he was to fat and the restraints couldn't fit him proply
