Buses in action in Glasgow, Scotland.

The main operator in the city of Glasgow is First Glasgow, many of their buses are route branded with variations on the standard First livery. Other operators in the city include McGill's of Greenock, Glasgow Citybus and Stagecoach West Scotland, all of which makes for a colourful transport scene.

The old Glasgow corporation buses from the 50s and 60s are the same colour as the old halifax corporation buses from the same era - green, cream and orange !

There was a reason for the same livery, either the Halifax manager had worked for Glasgow Corporation and when he got the job at Halifax he decided to paint their buses in the Glasgow colours or vice versa, not sure which way round it was.
