Man, everyone associated with Pond Jumperz and Borderline have been awesome to me this season and I can't express how much I appreciate it! The entire bass fishing community is just incredible. Experiencing that Shootout was honestly everything I hoped it would be and I'm glad I didn't wait til next year 👍💯🔥

I fished there that Sunday/Monday. Was a tough bite for size, I caught decent numbers Sunday but was under ten pounds. Monday was much of the same, but found a few 3 pounders punching thick mats. Like you said most of fish seemed to be closely related to crab creek side.
A couple of my club mates fished that tourney. I have a deep v boat with a 90hp and know the feeling of trying to not get pounded to death by the wake when the big boats are blowing by me at 70+. Potholes is a fun fishery and I typically get to fish it multiple times throughout the year. That lake is always changing with the water level. Love the brutally honest coverage of the derb.
Water level dropped 1.5' that week I heard. Sure thought it would position them differently. It is what it is, can't hide successes or failures when it's all on the books lol
Thank you for sharing your experiences out there this time of year. Like you, I normally fish it early spring and more towards the fall. I will be attending a kayak tournament end of the month there and there will also be 2 boat tournaments the same day so it’ll be interesting!
Well good luck! Dude's crushed them out there for sure, but I don't have a fraction of their experience on that lake. Nor do I know where any of the magic beaver huts are during higher water conditions 😄. The guy I passed had been camping over there all week and said it was great but died off on Thursday lol. Perfect! That Reservoir is a beast, I have all the respect in the world for everyone that cracks the code there! 👍👍🔥
Great video brother. I too fished that tournament and it was an interesting one. I will say we had a better day the first day, versus the second day. If you’re ever back at the lake please let me know. I would like to go fish together. My boat is always available.
All along the wall of the dam. The public launch in the Lind Coulee arm is a good area. Waaay back in the dunes off the C road. State Park etc. Pretty wide open on the east side, just spray for ticks, watch for snakes and put miles on those shoes 👍
