- Zenith 1 is an abandoned & left for dead B&W console with photofinish cabinet from ~ 1965. Low hour, like new condition, before it got man handled. Model M2736U. Ch.14M23. ISO 23EYP4. Zenith 2 is a 1966 Color Hi-Fi model from about 1966. Model 25S2970-1 Ch. 23XC36. Working condition, but lacking vertical deflection. The 2A Bel-fuse for the 340V. supply is good. These are known to have Vert. output transformer issues, but will first check the basics. Tubes, voltages, etc. Sound also appears absent, which may be a good thing. Perhaps a common element. Otherwise #2 is OK. Zenith 3 is a Space Command color set from about 1968. Model Y6541-6, Ch. 20Y1C50. Well cared for, & well maintained. Zenith quality evident throughout, on all 3 sets.
You're Zenith #2, @15 mins looks so very similar to our (my growing up) 25mc36, SAMS 805-4. My grandparents got it at Christmas 65. At first I was allowed only to touch volume and channel, nothing behind the little door (intensity & tint). Little day they now the wide access door in the low front. So much exploring. My aunt had the version with the space commander 'chime' remote. A neighbor had one with the beautiful doors over the screen.
One year, it zonked on Wednesday before Thanksgiving! The service man had the set on its side and bottom access panel off taking measurements before declaring it had to go "into the shop". Sad sad no football for the big holiday weekend. Later, in my late teens I would replace its 'picture tube' taken from a set I bought off The Recycler.
I'm a EE now, between childhood interest and adult professional practice its been 50 years. A glorious time indeed.
That first Zenith appears to be the exact set my family had when I was a small child. Probably bought at a discount because it was VHF only, about a year before UHF TVs began to be sold.
That bridge around 14:50 reminds me of Cape Cod.

Zenith 3 is a great find! well actually they all are.. Those CRT keyways.. I think I might have 1 or 2 sets they haven't crumbled on.
Those 1-800 Got Junk people just don't know or care, they see an old TV and think that no one would want it.
Are you on Cape Cod? I am in Sandwich.
Hello. Just visited to fetch.
Hey - is this available and for sale by any chance?
Zenith 1*
@@annadurkin3689 Thank you, not at this time, but perhaps in the future. Zenith 1.
Yep and 1-800 got junk probably charged the poor customer a fortune to haul it off. They're not inexpensive.
My god, I thaught your channel had been permanently abandoned...
