Billy Cooper and Buddy Charleton play "Faded Love" - pedal steel guitar

This video was recorded at Billy Cooper's Music on October 20, 2007 during a mini-concert given by Billy and Buddy. We had not planned to record it but our friend and fellow steel player, Glendon, brought his camera and offered to do so. It was an impromptu endeavor that we trust you will enjoy.

I had the great pleasure and honor to have had the great Buddy Charlton teach me how to play pedal steel. He was, simply put, unbelievable and awesome.. He had the patience of jobe! I can hear many of the licks and techniques he taught me in this video...Thanks you so much for sharing..

I got to spend a few hours at Mr Cooper’s shop a while back. I live 1000+ miles away or I’d be spending every extra dime on lessons. I know of very few players here. None giving lessons.
