Toro Z's are my favorite, and my wife likes the Smart Speed feature which helps us to trim close to planting beds without having to feather the control levers and make the unit jump. Great warranty too, if we ever need it.
I like the Simplicity ZT4000, it has a front suspension that makes for a less bumpy ride. They also have the Citation & Cobalt models, although these are commercial units. Friend of mine has a ZT4000 & I have used it a few times, LOVE IT! Other than that I like the Toro ZTR's.
So John Deere is the brand they’re showing on how riding mowers are made sweet. But of course companies like Scag, Exmark, Toro, Wright, Ferris, Dixie Chopper, Bobcat and many others pretty much do exactly the same thing. I can imagine it’s extremely heavy too
