In celebration of KINGDOM HEARTS and the stunning melodies of Yoko Shimomura, Utada Hikaru, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, we present Project Destati’s second volume.
DARKNESS is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Project Destati’s 2014 Billboard-charting soundtrack album “LIGHT.” The album is a musical amalgamation of fan-favorite themes from the KINGDOM HEARTS series, re-assembled in an all-new fashion like long-forgotten memories.
Featuring a live string orchestra and industry-leading soloists, DARKNESS is a dark, grand, and mysterious musical experience that aims to capture Tetsuya Nomura’s own imagination.

Most of the time, I hear people say "Coded is my least favorite game."
Honestly, I really love its soundtrack and i never really hated the game itself. It felt like a kh1 with command decks.
Storywise the game was rather... pointless. But it wasn't a bad game.

All the attacks have this awesome OOMPH feel to them!
It's so fun cruising around at end game decimating everything I see with Judgment Triad, Triple Pursuit, and Chain Rave. Osaka Team should take notes from this game next time they decide to make a Deck style game!
It was my first kh game. Thinking about getting KH 3 next. I don't have the willpoewer to emulate kh1 and or 2.

The eliminators are so terrifieng
They certainly can be.... I remember grinding a decent bit for a level 1 pre-Traverse Town eliminator kill on critical... That was an interesting affair.

For some people they were, I saw them as a challenge!
How to beat battles quite easily:
Step 1: Meld commands until you get Judgment Triad.
Step 2: Repeat Step 1 until as much as can be equipped.
Step 3: Spam
Step 4: ????
Step 5: Profit.
Or just get the 01 keyblade. All Critical and a scope AND the ability the lock-on from anywhere. Is broke AF.

@@sigmundroamer6580 my favorite strategies used metal Chocobo with attack boost and it really allows me to boost my gauge when guarding and then spam judgment Triad on superbosses like bad bug Roxas. Otherwise 0/1 is far superior when it comes to level grinding item drops and getting the most worthless Keyblade in the game the Ultimate Weapon.
Found this song during melody of memory and is easily one of my favourites now
The bugs are in Union Cross now so re-coded is becoming more Cannon

Screw those bugs. They counter Power medals, so my KH3 Kairi medal kills me.

Dani López Sanmartín ReCoded has the 2nd best gameplay in the franchise and is the only game where the command deck actually was balanced between normal attacks and commands. It is one of my favorite games thanks to the gameplay.
sergio matheus it’s nice to hear some good words to the game since it’s overall categorized as a tedious experience
tedious just because its kh 1 all over again just like chain of memories (i liked the game though)
They actually pace the game with enough alternative minigames for it not to feel repetitive such as the scrolling shooter for Wonderland and the Super Mario RPG for Olympus Colloseum, but my main complaint of tedium comes from having to replay through all the levels at end losing all your levels and abilities in the process and having to fight those super annoying bug spiders.

Even though this game brings nothing to the plot/story of the Seeker of Darkness/Xehanort Saga in the Kingdom Heart series, its gameplay & leveling up system NEEDS to be used in the next generation/Saga of Kingdom Hearts, as soon as the current one is over. Seriously, what they did with the Keyblade & its abilities was amazing for gameplay purposes. Now if they were to add the Revenge Value of Kingdom Hearts 2 as well as the camera control & position of Kingdom Hearts 2, then I think we're set.
Re:Coded did do something for the plot. The fact that Jimminy's Journal could be used to make all of the Data Worlds was a good way to preview the Book of Prophicies.
That being said, I would totally be down for another game in this style.
See also Maleficent and the "date escape". The spelling there is very important.

Re-coded was my first legit kingdom hearts game that I owned.
I know i have heard this theme before but... i dont know where... with this name i thought about tron's world, but when i listened it i knew this couldnt be that theme xD

NiKoX you like re:coded the best? Don't get me wrong I liked it, but there are so many other great games. With kh2 being my favorite. But it's your opinion and I respect your opinion.
of course I know there are many games better than Re:coded, it's just....that's the first I ever played, so it will be my favourite forever.

I played kh2 first but honestly I think 1 is the best. I tried getting through 1 by button mashing n gave up. After getting better at games, the best moment in the series is KH1 Riku fight.
As a fan of the game... I wouldn't go that far. The gameplay was fun and the story was decent with a good ending, but I'd still argue there are much better games in the series.

I appreciate you guys using orchestral instruments for this, but I'm still not sure how I feel about that electronic beat. This may be the only work of yours I intentionally avoid every time. But for now, I'll give it a chance; I may end up liking it.
All that aside, It actually sounds great. The composition is on point as always and the orchestra is just as phenomenal. I've just got a thing against synthesized music; I think music is an art that should be performed, not a product that should be made [on a computer], even if these sounds can't be produced on instruments.
