This song is so hidden that I couldn't find it which is why I'm so in love with songs that are magically glamoured and only found by those who search with hearts open and eyes closed, this song I vibe with on such a high spiritual level that it makes me cry but in a good way because it talks about finding yourself and accepting yourself and loving yourself because God knows that relationships aren't always fairytales so why not write your own happily ever after

I was lucky that I purchased this. For those of you that don’t know this song and a few other bonus tracks where released on a deluxe version of this album but not just a regular deluxe it was sold exclusively at Target a lot of times artists do exclusive deals. I’m glad I got it. But yes this song is my favorite and amazing and should be shared and experienced by all especially her fans.
Imagine selling the rights to this great song to a discount retailer (Target). Their record company turned Florence + the Machine from a cool indy band into the new middle of the road Fleetwood Mac. Yes, I am bitter about it. I saw an interview with Florence where she said she would have been happy to make Ceremonials 2.0 but her record company steered her in a different direction.

Makes me feel like I'm back in the 80's.
Her songs are not about relationships, and this is exactly why she stands out. Enough stuff about relationship out there in the world. It is so inconsequential, nagging, and petty. It's interesting that she has grown and evolved a lot since How Big. Three years. What could three years do to a person? I never considered that album to be about relationships, but it seems that it was. But look at "Hunger". What an evolvement? I have grown as well, accidentally in line with that of Florence's. I'm not sure if anyone would agree with me, but the key to her poetry is this line, repeated again and again: truth and fearlessness if only for a moment. If she were a goddess and mentor when I first got introduced to her last year, now I feel I get under her skin and we share something soulfully, as she would probably say.

Um...yes she does write a lot about relationships. She said she can get a bit obessive. Big God is literally about a guy who was ghosting her and wouldn't answer her texts.

But this song *does* talk about a relationship. To me it says that she felt invigorated after someone "took her pain away" and she could finally love the world again. Then even after it was over she still felt that life affirming feeling. Not all relationship songs are shallow you know
