This is takes 3 and 4 of Today, Tomorrow, and Forever from Viva Las Vegas. This was recorded back in 1964. The 2013 has nothing to do with the year. So yes, it is Elvis, but from 1964. This version can be found on the FTD release of Viva Las Vegas.

This is my take on the situation..Elvis was really big he couldn't do anything like you or i could or even go to the store and I believe he faked his death to have a normal life and i believe it was all planned out very carefully. I remember the photo that was showed of him in the casket and it looked like Elvis when he was a young man and very slim..if everyone remembers Elvis had gained a lot of weight there at the end and im not convinced that was him in the casket. I truly believe he had enough of fame and wanted to live a normal life with a new identity and his money friends and family made it possible. May God rest his soul wherever he may be... He can't just show up. Why would he as if he owes it to anyone? He doesn't owe anyone anything because his lifestyle, set to please us fans, nearly killed him!! I have heard a lot of people but Jon Cotner sounds like him always, even when he speaks, sings off the cuff songs, laughs and jokes in his Paltalk room for up to 6 hours at a time. I have heard that voice since I was a little girl and what convinces me of Jon Cotner is not just the voice itself but the quirks, the areas the voice is used for different parts of songs, areas of difficulty, moods and personality. He says he isn't Elvis. He gets more tiny things right than any impersonator I have heard. Often this is when singing on the spur of the moment when someone in the room asks him to sing a certain song. He is just too real. I wish he could just come out about it all but how can he? There are even some really cranky fans that would rather him have died for real than have had a good life for the past 30+ years! Even after all this time he is still in danger, yet he at least sings a few lovely songs for those people who are happy that he lived.

Okay now I have seen so many videos on you tube, telling his story. It's like a puzzle - one has to decide - is this video true or false. Maybe one day I have gathered his whole life in a perfect picture, but then he would be very old perhaps and die. In the good old fashion way. Old and tired - wanting to say goodbye laying in his own bed. His life was a real exciting story. He gave the world so much good music of all kinds, so he was positive and smiling always. It sounds realistic that his life was in danger and the only way was to hide. But bad for the world to threaten him and his family in this way. But it is like he still exists, especially in our minds. We are also becoming older and older every day, so in the end we will join him - where we wish to go after death. Maybe there is a life after this life, but to become spirituel like him - this is a big step. Religion leads to so many wars - why don't we stop all these battles about the different forms for religion. After all who can decide what's coming after our lives. In our country we can decide ourselves what to believe in, but why waste your time - if you can listen to Elvis and his daughter Lisa Marie instead.? Better than going to church.

chloe et al, i agree with you. I have done 8 years research and listened to hours x 1000000000 and articles for both sides. I loved the music but not now particularly the artist. the main sway points are these 1. 2 page autopsy. 2. one remaining life insurance not £ in on his death to now. 3. too many 'co-incidences' of him apparently dismissed and then just left hanging in the air' 4. his twin that was stated as dead at birth - he was not dead, he could not be kept due to £ 5. All of personal documents sealed until 2027 - most of us from the last century will be dead - how p'sd would you be as a fan that had done the tribute year in and out to find out you had been lied to - imagine the law citations !!! i could go on and on and on. Her older sister is named after Elvis' daughter. The name caught on when Lisa Marie was born and her picture was on the cover of a magazine with her mother, Priscilla. The number "2013" refers to the "Production Number" of the recording session NOT the year 2013! So, in this case you hear take 4 of production number 2013.
This must've been standard recording studio protocol at the time and is probably still in use in some form today to provide additional traceability of recording session(s).
The song was recorded on July 11th 1963 at Radio Recorders Studio B, Hollywood and was part of the soundtrack session for the movie "Viva Las Vegas".
