Good thing I know Tintin so well that the language barrier doesn't affect my understanding of the film lol
At least you forget to add more subtitles...
Ikr
Very proud of my parents who made the first movie of Tintin !
every 15 of every month i come back to watch this film. the oldest tintin film
Even for a stop frame movie..... It's quality is way too good.... Way too good for a 1947 film.
I use to make all the character of Tintin in clay sculpture in RL. I really use to have Tintin, Snowy, Haddock, and Allan.
Jamás me imagine poder ver ésta joya.
Fantastic! Best Tintin film to date ...
Old memories 😢❤❤❤❤
This is really cool! I love stop motion and Tintin, so this was neat to find! Good thing I know some Spanish...
Simply amazing!!!
One thing to remember when watching this is that this film was made with a pretty tight budget. I wonder if it had anything to do with the producer's bankruptcy...
My old yt acc was accidentally deleted so all my prev yt history got deleted but hey I'm back and watching tintin vids again.
I want that Tintin stop motion doll
so those are dolls
SafwanNet basically even though they are stop motion puppets
SafwanNet I wonder where they are now...

Herge' The Adventures of Tintin (The Crab With The Golden Claws 1947)
This is great
una verdadera joya
no tenia idea que fuera en Stop Motion.
English subs? Cannot find!
English subtitles disappear after 02:40.
have you found a fully english subtitled version anywhere?
Yes, I have -- I found fansubs on some subtitle download site years ago. I'm pretty sure those fansubs were the source for the English subtitles seen in the beginning of this video. But *unlike* this video, they worked the whole way through.
@@Mesterius1 Is available i hope The Hergé Foundation hasn't removed it or anything.
What site, Mr Mesterius1?
what site?
there are no more subtitles?!, someone must edit the subtitles!
The English subtitles don't work.
I know, it's unfinished.
@@bingbongmainchannel I actually made my own subtitled version and posted it to the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/the-final-tintinthe-crab-with-the-golden-claws-1947-Eng-Sub-Updated-Version
O Milu fala? É sério isso?? Ouvi dizer que ele tinha falas nos quadrinhos, mas são falas mesmo ou pensamentos que ouvimos??
I wander why they didn't made secret of the unicorn
Bankruptcy of the producer! m.ua-cam.com/video/_ThGjcU8xHw/v-deo.html 1:36:00

It would be an awful great big fat dumb mistake for the Simpsons animation crew members to infringe on the "Fear no Evil" cast and crew members rights.
The voices are wonderful, but the animation... jeez. I guess we're spoiled by Aardman and Ray Harryhausen. The dynamics of the motion are just not good. Fast movements have nearly the same amount of frames as slow movements, and the momentum is the same. The walking is awkward, even thought the puppets have knee joints. And many camera angles are awkward.
I know how difficult stop motion is. I've done a few music videos with "human" puppets. I know that these mistakes have nothing to do with production time or money, or the technical standards of the 40s. I guess the animators were first-timers. Or otherwise, they didn't bother particularly ("Hey, it's only for kids..."). It's still quaint and cute, but... it could have been so much better for the same money.
Edit: I had to watch all the way to the wine cellar scene to realize that Tintin is voiced by a woman - that's brilliant! In all other film versions I've seen, he always sounds way too old (being voiced by men in their 20s). But the "breeches role" voice in this movie is just right. Can we have more women voicing teenage boys in movies, please?
