Maharashtra is magical during the monsoons. We normally take road trips on the rains. Lot of trekking n hiking is also done. These mountains r very high tough to climb. It is quite enjoyable and fun. Love my maharashtra ❤️

Maharashtra ka western ghat gujrat se lekar keral tak bahot khubsurat hai kyonki ye pahadiya gujrat ke saputara se shuru hokar south me keral me end hoti hai aur is pure elake me barish bahot jada hoti hai
After 3 pm it gets to foggy you can't anything from 20 meter.... And thats makes it nightmare.... Heavy rain will throw you from the mountain. Water pressure is so emence... That will take you with and then you are no more.... You have to check the weather before you go... Rocks keep falling from the top that is danger there but i still can't stop my self going there.... Once in a year you get this view.... Air blows so fast that even falling water from the mountain return back to the mountain.... The only thing is that returning water sting like a bullet..... I miss this.... My sisters kids was smiling so much....

Malshej Ghat is about 4 hours drive from Mumbai. I used to visit it every year as a kid with family during the monsoon season. Mumbai is surrounded by several beautiful hill stations. Malshej is easily my favourite. The clouds, the waterfalls that fall directly on the road and the greenery will soothe any tired soul. Standing under the cold waterfalls and then sipping hot masala chai was something I looked forward to all year. The clouds get so low you can't see the person standing next to you.
