I found your song trying to explain to my 87 year old mother how each generation doesn't like the next generation's music. How my 43 year old gen X self has a difficult time with newer music and why she can't stand my music, but as a classically trained musician I understand musical theory and aesthetics and the history of music. So I typically can find something to appreciate in most pieces. Honestly this has kinda grown on me. Nice piece... Well done. It's just about .01 out of the ideal ratio which creates a not entirely unpleasant but jarring and disjointed effect akin to good whiskey. Very expertly arranged for a interesting effect. Like I said it grew on me. Found this just searching for gen z music and honestly I am not certain how indicative it is of gen z music necessarily but it is good. I just wanted to share that with you.
Def not indicative of gen z music, dubsteps been dead for a while. Most kids listen to stuff like Drake or Migos or whatever other rapper with tight, simple electronic production. 'Destroy Lonely' would be an interesting example
@@sebastiandk3829 yeah Gen Z here, I don't think you can call Dubstep "Gen Z music" since a small minority of our generation are the only ones that typically enjoy this stuff and the genre originated from the Millenials' party freak era around the 2010's just like other niche genres/subgenres, they're not Gen Z music since the majority are more influenced by Trap, Pop, Hip-Hop, House, Reggaeton, Girl Teen Ballads, etc.
I wish some deathstep artist like Code: Pandorum, Kram or Lord Swan3x could remix that. The buildup, it's a masterpiece up until 0:45 but after that it requires a more brutal drop.
