This game is still the best MMORPG released to date. Watching the combat mechanics after not playing in 16 years or so is kind of funny though. I remember having a lot to do on skald, or shaman, or nightshade, or bard, druid - any of the classes that I played. And was very good at bard and skald. But it doesn't look like a lot is happening when you're just watching a video. Good stuff either way!
Glad you enjoyed the video. Maybe it's that there's less clicking nowadays? I know I sure used to be clicking a lot more 16 years ago, whereas now I use the keyboard much more.
@@umodian oh we used keyboard too haha. I had something like 35 hot keys for my bard. I think that I was forgetting about interrupts and CC. I forgot how potent the CC is in DAoC compared to a game like Elder Scrolls Online, etc.
@@bminturn Gotcha. But yeah definitely not as much visible on a video compared to your own input when playing. And yeah DAoC CC is definitely something else haha.
monsters was a friend of mine back in the day. i am returning after 5 years, i am rr10l1 want to swap to battlemaster and solo. can u post ur template?
@@umodian he was the best player i knew, we had fun together. i was a hunter who could nopt beat him on my best day, but he would let me test him whenever i wanted, good guy. like i said, you play just like him./
@@kevinslaton1045 Glad to hear it. I played primarily on Palomides/Killibury cluster, but saw him a couple of times through the years. Always a nice guy. Honestly I must've watched his videos hundreds of times, they taught me so much, and they're still just some of the most enjoyable daoc videos ever.
@@umodian the template u post for low rr wardens is not the one u are using, i see cyclops shield, bracer of zo, tick/tok. i am rr10 not low level. what temp is that?>
@@kevinslaton1045 I lost the template from the video. There are more templates on that site though, the one I'm currently using is the one at the bottom. You can't go by the look though, as I've skinned the items to look different.

@@umodian Ye Well i hatede to fight wardens... Nah i highly doubt it, that i will ever come back to DAOC... Black Desert is a very cool Game.. free to play too, and only P2W if u choose to cut corners. its a game with Guild wars solo fights for defensing grind spots, Etc.. Though it cn be frustrating, but its a Marathin game.. not a sprint race.

Wardens were given a 50% abs debuff style like 5 years ago or so, and I often spec to maximize damage over defense.
