The Pioneers had been physical in the 2024 post-season and used that today to bother the Irish at first...It kept the scoring fairly even into the 2nd Quarter...
Yet when the Irish cracked the Pioneer tactic, there was essentially no adjustment...Desperation quickly became a worthless option, and the Pioneers simply sought respect in accepting defeat....

Denver defense really broke down the second half.. and that coupled with their inability to clear with pressure resulted in only 2 shots I believe in the 3rd quarter .. after that they were just rushing and taking shots not within the offense. …. By then Dame was firing on all cylinders and it was long over

most of these college teams don't slide often they are taught to try and win their 1 on 1 matchup's as best they can.
