‘Science of today is the technology of tomorrow’
National Science Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal by the learners of
Centre Point School International on 27th February 2023. This day is commemorated to
remember the great inventions by the Indian Physicist Chandrashekhara Venkata
Raman who discovered ‘Raman’s Effect’.
Learners of Centre Point School International, held a special assembly to mark this
event. The assembly began with a perfect thought for the day expressing the importance of science used in the daily life of people. It was followed by the introduction of the great Scientist Dr. C.V. Raman. Grade 8 conducted a science quiz for the whole school, making the assembly more innovative and interactive. The winners were given badges of ‘Science Wizard ‘by the Vice- Principal of the school,Ms.Sarika Bhowmick . Some amazing scientific facts were also shared with the learners which ignited a wave of curiosity and led to conversations throughout the day on this new knowledge discovered..
