Thought it was one of the most enjoyable games of the season. Players leaving, players returning. All getting the respect they deserve.
And we still almost bottled a 3-0 lead...great way to sum up the season albeit it with a win, largely thanks to players the gaffer refused to play most the season despite injuries. Not the look on him but thankfully most don't notice it.

Mufc actually played as a team last night, Amad, Bruno and Amrabat stood out. But i think most of the players know Ineos mean business, playing for their futures

Got to see OT for the first time recently. There was no game and it was in daylight, but it was a spectacle I'll treasure forever. Your camera pan made me shudder from the wonderful memory.
Good vibe end to the season at OT. Onana's distribution dodgy at times. Just hope we can win the cup final. 🎉

Yeah strange one that, best game in a United shirt other than the Chelsea one. Andy loves his Moroccans so would have thought it would be higher
McTominay 6?? His energy was second to none--crucial tackles, brilliant cross field pass 2nd half to Garnacho, led the line, held the ball when ETH switched to Onana feeding it in to him on half way line (they practiced this in the warm up) moved position 3 times and still performed, forward running and passing in his game now as well.
Johnny Evans a definite 10--he was solid and his positioning was sublime.
That was an enjoyable game to watch. I really enjoyed it. But did you give AWB a six? Never. His football intelligence is so poor.

Onana made four passes that led to four transitional moments for Newcastle, and one led to their goal...
So? It's risk football! If our players finished there chances every game we would be winning the league with the most attacking exciting football with goals galore each game and ETH would be seen as a genius. I can't think of any games where we shouldn't of scored more than the opposition
@@dondamon4669 and look at what this version of Risk football would bring you: the worst United side arguably since its relegation in the early 1970s. No one in the world uses this tactics. If you love it, fine. Enjoy being mediocre in the rest of your life, and congrats on being 8th in the league - a position where United cannot even get into the Conference League!
Also made the most saves of any goalkeeper this season. He's asked to play out that way by the manager. Therin lies the issue. His pass accuracy is actually high
@@d.b.cooper1 This is increasing an issue. The way was conceded yesterday was identical to the way we conceded against Arsenal: Onana hit a ball to the middle of the park, lost the first and second ball, cut back, a goal.
@@Wrioncnkiye Again, it's a numbers game. Works more times than it doesn't & it's inherent risk of the type of football the gaffer wants to play. His stats are sill highly in his favour both saves & passing wise. Leagues above de gea not even close. The rest is on the manager to school into the squd re 1st & 2nd balls. It's also oddly how tan hag shapes up our attack, he expects us to win those & score the same way. Risky stuff, I don't like it

Hope the youngsters get game time and we don't buy players to impede their development next season

I would have loved to see more from Amad and Amrabat this season, the latter got pelters for not performing when asked to play out of position much like Casemiro is now.

Glad your feeling more upbeat Andy. There is grounds for optimism. The fans have been brilliant ETHs Red Army fully behind the gaffer now. The youth are exceptional. Proper football people in charge at last rebuild is all systems go.

The speech/vibe felt rather reminiscent of the band of violinists continuing to play as the Titanic went down. I don't mind him staying as fans & players still have some faith. But he doesn't inspire any confidence imo. At best he makes it to a lifeboat before succumbing to hypothermia.
Andy, do you tot up all these ratings at the end of the season and use them to calculate the best players???

The fans were amazing! What about when we sing ‘Ooh aah Cantona’ or ‘who put the ball in the German net’ etc etc etc!!
One of the few positives of this season has been the supporters. Please don’t criticise when they have been as good as they have.

People must have very short memories if they think the atmosphere has been good this season. It’s been awful for years. Pockets of atmosphere every so often that don’t carry across the ground doesn’t make it a good atmosphere!

One game mate, one game, were all getting revved up. ETH should be moved on, injury excuses and internal team squabbles he couldn’t sort out. Its pathetic.
