- The Tinkerface Shield is now available in the Tindie store, either as DIY kit or as fully assembled and tested interface shield. In this video I am going to show you to build your own from the kit, and how to use it on your Arduino to make it a DCC or Loconet interface device - or both at the same time.

Got the message the my Tinkerface Shields have been shipped - can’t wait to have a play - thanks Hans!
Should only be a few days ;-) I did a quick test the other day using an Arduino sketch that is listening for both, DCC and Loconet, at the same time, using the nmradcc and loconet libraries. It worked even on an Arduino Uno.
Boards have safely arrived - thank Hans. Do you know when you will have Rev 5 Power Shields available?
I am waiting for the driver chips to become available, so I don't know really. Hopefully soon.
Thanks for the update Hans - hopefully I will get to try the Tinkerface Shield after my layout goes to a train show this weekend - just doing some planning for a new layout - may need auto-reversing…. Won’t start work on the new layout till November….
Is that a tan from the Cancun vacation?😁 Thanks again for all you work creating this!
Unfortunately not ;-) More the result of poor lightning as I do not have my typical video setup ready after moving to the new house. I had to film it in the garage with just a few lamps.
Welcome back.
Thank you!
