However l want to add and highlight, function blocks(FBs) do exist for user program clarity and re-usability and your explanation was okay. Now the ones you named control blocks do not exist as control blocks but they are fuctions(FCs), since they were made for us already, they are rightly termed SFCs. Keep the fire burning.
Function Block programing is immensely far more useful than what has been explained here. Great video. But these blocks have enormous advantages in programing a very large project and in reducing many many errors.
I am expecting a video on how to use function [FC],function block[FB],Data blocks[DB] and organization block[OB and create a program.....it will be better if u explain an common example project available in our simatic manager Library...

Yes, most On-Delay and Off-Delay timers have a parameter for time elapsed ("counts" up) and time remaining ("counts" down). If not, one or the other can be calculated: Time Left = Timer SP - Time Elapsed.
