If the soundtrack has to carry that much weight to hold a film up, the movie really isn't good.
Those classic gems you named were perfect, and the soundtracks were icing on top. Not the case here, in my opinion.
@@ButterCookie1984 let’s be honest great percentage of movies in the 80s aren’t that good lol they just have that special sauce aka the soundtrack. But still we call them “classics” lol
