I still liked the V3 version of part 3 Opening more, where they added The World popping up during different scenes, like Jotaro on stairs, Kakyoin's silhouette, Joseph's silhouette. It looks damn sick.
About the different versions, the thing is that, apart from some changes in the visuals, for some reason in the last chapter of every "season" (not exactly seasons but i'm not gonna explain it right now) they add a bunch of sounds effects to match what's happening, so in my opinion it was pretty unnecessary to add those versions, the only openings with different versions are: -Opening 4 (2 versions, change of visuals at the end) -Opening 5 (2 versions, the second should have been an EDM version of the song but for some reason whoever uploaded it changed the audio, it also has a slight change in the visuals) -Opening 7 (2 or 3 versions, i'm not really sure, but the second is a huge change in the visuals and the song) -Opening 9 (3 versions, different visuals and some changes on the song) -Opening 10 (2 versions at the time, slightly different visuals)
Op 4 v3 has quite a few visual changes as well but they're not ones that reactors would notice. They add the world's punches before you hear "star platinum" and during the montages showing silhouettes of the characters facing dio they add in the world attacking for a brief moment as well as star platinum appearing during jotaro's knife scene).
Jojo's is such a trip to watch! The gay part is more about the author exploring what he's into, starting with Hunks slowly going into twunks, stopping by tomboys for a bit and finally landing on twinks. I love it with all my heart

I am so glad you are getting on JoJo. Watched your react to Edgerunners. With your hyperfocus and appreciation for the art work, you are going to love JoJo. The author of the manga, Hirohiko Araki is a huge fan of rock n roll and fashion. Every scene, every pose, every facial expression is an art piece. Also, once you have seen JoJo, you will get the meme about JoJo references. It had an epic impact on anime. I watch some modern animes like "that's a jojo reference". Then i find out it is referencing some other anime, but that other anime was influenced by JoJo.
8:58 Do you know what's a Persona (from the game series)? Yeah, that's inspired by JoJo's Sands (the anime is new...ish but the manga is really old, it's so old a lot of anime has something created by it, "Everything is a JoJo's reference" is not just a meme, like, it CREATED the Yandere archetype in part 4, and it's still going, we're getting part 9 soon, if it's no already out)
Araki, the creator, is a big fan of western culture. A lot of the characters stands are named after western bands, lots of the style and poses are taken from fashion magazines like Vogue. There’s a lot of good compilations about how the male characters, their signature poses and styles, are all taken from 70-90s female fashion magazines.

One thing i can say is Part 1: Jonathan and DIO Part 2: Joseph and caesar Part 3: Jotaro and company Part 4: Josuke and company Part 5: Giorno and Mafia gang Part 6: Jolyne and prisoners
Just to point out, the original manga started in 1987 (yes, you read it right !) and it is currently in a hiatus before the FINAL season is going to come out. Every 'season' is literally self-contained and it follows a different member of the Joestar family (starting in 1880) who always takes the nickname 'JoJo' ('GioGio' in Part 5 because it's in Italy). Most anime and manga have been inspired by the innovations put by Hirohiko Araki in his work, specifically the Stands (spiritual manifestations of the fighter became common after Araki introduced them in Part 3, like Spirits in Shaman King or Nen in Hunter X Hunter) and the so-called 'tactical combat' (most combats in JoJo are not resolved by sheer strength but very often through clever strategies, it's the reason why lesser powerful fighters can win against overwhelming odds).
yes, the punching ghosts the characters summon are called stands, you are not a fool :3 and here's what different about say the third version of that one opening: during the season finales, the intro adds SOUND effects to the opening, so you hear sound effects for everything happening ALONGSIDE the music. that was the only difference there. (you also actually skipped a version of the 'breakdown' opening where the villain ACTUALLY fucks with the opening) Other changes in other openings include bringing in characters who appear later, or changing certian things to reflect later plot developments, or revealing details that were intentionally hidden before to avoid spoilers. the Openings are REALLY good at foreshadowing things without spoiling too much, ESPECIALLY "Chase".
I'd like to point out here that in the third version of the opening, there are additions to the segment where you see the characters turn into colorful silhouettes: -DIO appears at the top of the stairs -The World appears approaching Kakyoin -The World appears again, seeming reaching towards Old Joseph's heart -for a split second, Jotaro's finger on his right twitches, and another split second Star Platinum appears ready to deflect the barrage of knives
*sees a similar opening twice* "Oh its the same?" *watches it anyways and notices a massive change* (fast forward to the same thing happening in part 4) *proceeds to skip all of them just because*
it triggers me so much that you skipped the alternative versions, the bites the dust version of "Great days" is so good... traitor's requiem has four versions for a reason... jojo openings always change once the main bad guy and it's abilty gets revealed, those abilities always mess witht he opening in some way
The different versions of OPs are when the season's Big Bad reveals their full abilities, which are always insane and OP in a good way. You'll definitely understand more of what's going on in each opening once you watch the show. Just an FYI, the subs will be lying about the names of many of the characters in the first three seasons and the Stand names in the later seasons. That's because they're based on rock band and pop star names, so there were fears about copyright. You can find the real names online. And our leading lady in Part 6 is named Jolene Joestar. But yes, all the protagonists are from the Joestar family and their given names start with a "Jo." Each season follows a different generation or line of the Joestar family. I can neither confirm nor deny some of the heroic characters die in-season though. And yes, the Pillar Men theme absolutely slaps :D
I'm still on part 2 so I don't know everything, but the reason there are multiple versions of certain songs is because they started having a theme with their OPs where the villians are so powerful they actually take over the openings, which for the 2 I remember makes sense because one can stop time and the other can reverse it I think?

so basically the ghost things that are always beside the people are called stands (because the literally "stand" next to ther user". Their is a lot to uncover in jojo. A LOT.
The difference between v2 and v3 of op4 is that in v3 there are moments when a new silhouette appears in several scenes back to back. There was also a moment where some punches were added for breaking the screen before one of the singers says "star platinum." Don't worry about it, it's only something you notice if you watch the op several times.

time passes between seasons, like quite a lot of years. The main protagonist of the 1st season is the grandpa of the MC of the 2nd season, which in turn is the father of another season MC and the grandpa of 3rd season MC.... and so on. Also BTW doing a playlist like this probably confused you guys more. They had way too many versions of some like for one small change or a sound effects version. The 1-13 video skips those extra ones except the plot change ones. Btw you guys are super entertaining! ❤️❤️❤️
The sound effect version is the chef's kiss
The one thing i dont like aboit the 1-13 video though is that it doesnt include the part 5 changes which are some of the most different and noticeable ones
@@dmioptical3966yeah with traitor's requiem doesn't it just skip to the diavolo version and not the one during the risotto fight?
I still liked the V3 version of part 3 Opening more, where they added The World popping up during different scenes, like Jotaro on stairs, Kakyoin's silhouette, Joseph's silhouette. It looks damn sick.
About the different versions, the thing is that, apart from some changes in the visuals, for some reason in the last chapter of every "season" (not exactly seasons but i'm not gonna explain it right now) they add a bunch of sounds effects to match what's happening, so in my opinion it was pretty unnecessary to add those versions, the only openings with different versions are:
-Opening 4 (2 versions, change of visuals at the end)
-Opening 5 (2 versions, the second should have been an EDM version of the song but for some reason whoever uploaded it changed the audio, it also has a slight change in the visuals)
-Opening 7 (2 or 3 versions, i'm not really sure, but the second is a huge change in the visuals and the song)
-Opening 9 (3 versions, different visuals and some changes on the song)
-Opening 10 (2 versions at the time, slightly different visuals)
Op 4 v3 has quite a few visual changes as well but they're not ones that reactors would notice.
They add the world's punches before you hear "star platinum" and during the montages showing silhouettes of the characters facing dio they add in the world attacking for a brief moment as well as star platinum appearing during jotaro's knife scene).
Also in OP 5 one of the version is there because a character gets a Stand and he is posing with his stand with the change.
Jojo's is such a trip to watch! The gay part is more about the author exploring what he's into, starting with Hunks slowly going into twunks, stopping by tomboys for a bit and finally landing on twinks. I love it with all my heart
We probably get another g
Jolyne for part 9 and it's really exciting
what
What he's into?
wtf
He starts putting more muscle and broader shoulders on his characters on the latter half of Jojolion. Just look at Rai, he gave him a bakery
this is gonna be a bizarre adventure for alicia
and also just for your viewing pleasure because I love JoJo so much (every part has a new main character, and yes Stands are spirits that you own to do whatever you want)
1:08 Part 1 - Sherlock Holmes + Dracula/Jonathan Joestar
4:35 Part 2 - David Vs. Goliath, Man Vs. God/Joseph Joestar
7:20 Part 3 -Dracula's Return + Around The World/Jotaro Kujo
15:56 Part 4 - Slice Of Life With a Murderous Twist/Josuke Higashikata
24:30 Part 5 - Gangsters Paradise/Giorno Giovanna
30:50 Part 6 - Prison Life + Evil God/Jolyne Kujo
Accurate
Part 7 - Scavenger hunt for the corps of Jesus Christ + Horse race across the American Wild West/Johnny Joestar
Can we take a moment to appreciate watching Alicia and Ant watching the part 4 openings experiencing the Mandala effect in real time? lmao
Oh man, you're in for a treat with Jojo's.
It's a bit of a commitment cus its a long series, but it's worth it.
Oh and quick tidbit, the last episode(s) of each Jojo part/season adds sound effects to the openings, just for flair.
It’s so manly that it’s fabulous and I love it.
Wow that's something i never expect to see here. Thanks for the reaction.
I love that you immediately picked up that the pokemon ghosts are stands.

JoJo is a series that seems to get progressively more flamboyant as it progresses. Its actually quite good and the storyline all connects.

@@aliciaxlife Yes, since then I've been stalking your Jojo reactions.
Loved the comments about muscular women! That part, Part 6: Stone Ocean is my absolute favorite arc, and also maybe one of my favorite stories ever? It was written in the 2000s in shonen jump, when female characters were kind of an afterthought, side thing, or just existed to relieve the sexual tension between the two guys :p
Stone Ocean is a punk rock, fuck the system, break all the rules kinda story and I would love to see more people react to it,
Another chad Stone Ocean enjoyer let's goooooo

Yeah! I think I am up there honstely as one of the biggest Stone Ocean fans out there honestly.
Ive been doing a twitter where I post daily stone ocean analysis, and I am pretty proud of it.
@@BARMN89 Nice! I went into Stone Ocean with a bit of trepidation (because 90%of the fandom apparently hated it) and I was delightfully surprised. It's in my top 3 now.
@@melaniemagdalene1616 for sure, i gotta say it was rough being a part 6 fan, especially on youtube for a few years there. But now that people have actaully seen/read it, the quality really speaks for itself I think.

Bro, skipping a JoJo opening and still posting the video?
I would have been too scared to do it, that's actually impressive 🤣
Aslo I love how you got that out just before the latest opening came out.
here this its rule of react jojo op
1.dont skip
the breakdown song is called ¨Great days¨
You're gonna love it, it's gonna be a very fun ride! Amazing reaction by the way
I am so glad you are getting on JoJo.
Yeah, that's inspired by JoJo's Sands (the anime is new...ish but the manga is really old, it's so old a lot of anime has something created by it, "Everything is a JoJo's reference" is not just a meme, like, it CREATED the Yandere archetype in part 4, and it's still going, we're getting part 9 soon, if it's no already out)
20:51 um actually... its called "great days"
If that was weird, now imagine them seeing Mob Pycho's op´s xD

I posted my reaction to the first few episodes here on the channel. When that moment happened the realization had me laughing so hard LOLOL
We've got:
ACDC
Wham
Killer queen, sheer heart attack and bites za dusto
Red hot chilly pepper
Vanilla ice
*SPEEEEEDOWAGONNNNNN*
Rolling stone
Sticky fingers
Aerosmith
And many others
Wait... It's only been a Year since her JoJo journey started? I felt like it was way longer
Edit: Oh ok just a few more days and it's gonna be 2 years which is more appropriate
One of the most bizarre and enjoyable anime series. You'll like it.
One thing i can say is
Part 1: Jonathan and DIO
Part 2: Joseph and caesar
Part 3: Jotaro and company
Part 4: Josuke and company
Part 5: Giorno and Mafia gang
Part 6: Jolyne and prisoners
U GOT TWO MORE OP'S TO REACT TOO NOW. THEY'RE SICK
2:19 "Man on Man action"
*knowing it's a son holding his dying father* :[
6:33 Lil bro that IS Joseph Joestar😭😭😭
yes, the punching ghosts the characters summon are called stands, you are not a fool :3
and here's what different about say the third version of that one opening: during the season finales, the intro adds SOUND effects to the opening, so you hear sound effects for everything happening ALONGSIDE the music. that was the only difference there.
(you also actually skipped a version of the 'breakdown' opening where the villain ACTUALLY fucks with the opening)
Other changes in other openings include bringing in characters who appear later, or changing certian things to reflect later plot developments, or revealing details that were intentionally hidden before to avoid spoilers.
the Openings are REALLY good at foreshadowing things without spoiling too much, ESPECIALLY "Chase".
I'd like to point out here that in the third version of the opening, there are additions to the segment where you see the characters turn into colorful silhouettes:
-DIO appears at the top of the stairs
-The World appears approaching Kakyoin
-The World appears again, seeming reaching towards Old Joseph's heart
-for a split second, Jotaro's finger on his right twitches, and another split second Star Platinum appears ready to deflect the barrage of knives
*sees a similar opening twice* "Oh its the same?" *watches it anyways and notices a massive change* (fast forward to the same thing happening in part 4) *proceeds to skip all of them just because*
Bruh ain’t no they skipped the time rewind… it’s one of the coolest ones 😭
I’m kinda sad you missed the reversed opening 7 (the version 2 one) 🥲
it triggers me so much that you skipped the alternative versions, the bites the dust version of "Great days" is so good... traitor's requiem has four versions for a reason... jojo openings always change once the main bad guy and it's abilty gets revealed, those abilities always mess witht he opening in some way
Jojo fans calling Jojo gay: 😀
Non-Jojo fans calling Jojo gay: 💀
I’m happy to know you aren’t aware of these amazing stories
And you get to experience them for the first time
I finished recording part one and this series is already so good. I can’t believe it’s going to get more fun!
@@aliciaxlife you seem pretty new to anime so I can’t wait for you to see all sorts of series not just jojo. I’m currently watching a chainsaw man vid of yours and wondering what else you might like to react to. Or just see in your own time like maybe dorohedoro?
That finger looks like its glitching because your watching a 60fps video thats originally 24fps, so the AI is making up for the missing frames.
The commentary is funny as hell😂 hope y'all do more anime opening reactions
it's pretty neat watching this after seeing the notification for their Part 4 Episode 38 reaction
Jojo fan here, wanted to wait until the end of the video but I wanted to give some thoughts:
6:14 had me ROLLING. Without context those two sets of characters really do look the exact same
16:13 HELL YEAH BROTHER Part 4 has a very special place in my heart, I adore the feel of it the most. I think both of yall will like it a lot tbh, if yall ever watch it
21:10 yeah, some of these are kinda bullshit lol. its just a difference of explicit spoilers and you both know nothing about the show so it doesn’t really matter at this point in time. There was another comment here criticizing the playlist itself (not yalls choice to watch it) and I gotta second them. Overall though I’m glad its not dampening on yall’s experience of the OPs :]
31:40 I was legit expecting you to add an editor’s note at the end like “yeah lol guys it was this other unrelated song”… I genuinely was not expecting the Pillarmen Theme because you didn’t go ‘Ayayayay’ or hum the main melody LMFAO. I’m so happy the character arc was on screen and that you found it without too much sweat! For the record, it’s like, one of the most popular of the OSTs to rival the main opening songs in popularity.
35:11 OH SHIT I DIDNT CHECK THE DESCRIPTION. Absolutely excited for this too! Jojo is kinda fucking wild at certain points, but I assure y’all, it’s SO worth it. You’re going to find at least one part that you like the most, I hope yall like what you watch! (And like Alicia says, you may fuck with other parts more than others and that’s cool)
11:30, no, Paul has a HIM haircut!
Watching this made me remember that even years later I can still sing the first opening by heart on beat. God I’m a nerd

Without being spoilery, JoJo is divided into Parts. Each part has a new protagonist. The anime is currently on part 6
@@killherqueen I cant tell if that's sarcasm. I guess saying each part has a new protagonist could be spoilery, but it shows new casts in various intros.
“I think the song is called Breakdown”
I mean you’re wrong, but it’s still an acceptable answer
The opening changes are usually associated with major plot reveals. It's interesting because unless you super overanalyze it you won't pick up on spoilers.
so basically the ghost things that are always beside the people are called stands (because the literally "stand" next to ther user".
Their is a lot to uncover in jojo. A LOT.
You would totally love this series because the original author loves to make cultural references like movies and especially music.
And with that a new member is recruited to the holy society.
The difference between v2 and v3 of op4 is that in v3 there are moments when a new silhouette appears in several scenes back to back. There was also a moment where some punches were added for breaking the screen before one of the singers says "star platinum." Don't worry about it, it's only something you notice if you watch the op several times.
Dayum she literally missed the best opening where they reveresed it
Oh you'd LOVE Jojo's. It's my favorite anime!
Allow me to quote Star Wars
“I’ve been looking forward to this.”
Jojo is divided in parts, each part follows a different family member of the joestar dynasty. The first part is in the 1800 and goes all the way to 2011 some characters appear in multiple parts
Wow they included EVERY version in this one 😂. Usually people leave out the SFX openings and the half baked tv versions.
They also used a trashy computer program to artificially up some of openings to 60fps which makes my artist brain CRY!
It finally happend, Alicia's going to the rabbit hole to Wonderland 😳
"Why are they so checked up"
"Their muscles have muscles"
"They all be posing so much"
Me: Yea... They do that a lot
Took me a long time to watch the show, but eventually a friend convinced me to try it, and honestly I'm really glad I did.
"This might be the more emotionally charged season" She says, about the part that is comparably chill lmao
YOU SKIPPED OPENINGS. HOW DARE
“There was the same blond hair guy in the second one” no 💀
Looking back, it's amazing to see Ant's and Alicia's powers manifesting for the first time!
It took some time for them to become aware of it, but they're clearly doing some prediction already!
Edit: Like what Ant says at 25:57! Perfectly describing both King Crimson and ADD in a single sentence
“Flamboyant Masculinity”

time passes between seasons, like quite a lot of years. The main protagonist of the 1st season is the grandpa of the MC of the 2nd season, which in turn is the father of another season MC and the grandpa of 3rd season MC.... and so on. Also the author of the manga is a big fan of western music so most Stands and characters are named after bands and singers.
the fact that the sound she was making ended up being the pillar men theme took me out lmao
