Can’t describe how valuable this interview is. Thank you for capturing what this legend had to say before he left this mortal coil. And thank you Jim, we all miss you!
Great man... I can still see him in his red pants walking through the crowd at now that’s class before Nunslaughter played for the last time. That was my final memory of the guy. Thanks for introducing me to the heavy metal underground back in 1997.
Was just thinking about the time I met Jim at a show here in Calgary, Canada. I only spoke to him for a few minutes but he seemed like just a genuinely nice guy. RIP.
Man this is super cool! I met Jim back in '94 when i was staying with Steveggs(PILE OF EGGS) down in Ohio! I watched Schnauzer record their 1st split 7"( with Son of Dog), and did 'gang' vocals with Minch for the split 7" with Gonkulator which i will always be more than honored to have been a part of as Minch was an early major inspiration for me starting my noise band The Earwigs! Jim played with P.O.E. for a tape we did back in '96 . He and i got into some huge arguments but he was one of the most selfless people i have ever met! Always giving out records and just a cool funny crazy guy! I miss you man! Thanks for posting this! It is really sweet! :) CHEERS!
Miss you greatly Brother! So many great times together being fruends for over 30 years. Still cant belueve you are gone my friend! Things will never be the same without you. RIP my friend
A genuine artist. My misanthropy is well controlled as I watch this to remind myself that there have been a few people who would do what they do even if they didn't make a cent at it. Konya ate, slept, breathed, and shat music.
