Do you have any videos of growing season burns as suggested in this video? I struggle with enough fuel for a dormant season burn and can't even imagine getting a growing season fire to burn more than the gas/diesel mixture coming out of the drip torch. I have a place in Southern middle Tennesse with mostly hardwood timber and 50-90% canopy.

Mostly hardwood timber but lacking enough fuel for a dormant season fire? You could open the canopy to allow sunlight in to help generate fuel that way. We don't have any growing season specific videos. That's something we probably should cover.

I like your videos, but I have a suggestion.
When you're talking and you say something like, "If you look here you can see the dye in the herbicide spray. If you look to my right, you can see the hinge cutting we've done."
But we didn't see everything because the camera operator kept the camera on YOU instead of what you're talking about.

Couldn’t you burn before the hinge cuts in order to achieve more forbs.

woody stems? thats browse. thats what deer eat the most of late season and winter. thats when you want deer on the property not spring summer. why get rid of it? and girdling is dangerous. nothing like 50 trees falling on you when you least expect it.

I've been girdling trees for over 50 years. I've never had a tree fall on me or anyone else. They fall years later in the middle of winter during a bad storm.
