I think of triangles as triplet rhythms, because they are. Triangles have 3 notes in 1 beat. Scalene triangles take that to a different level, being a triplet to a 2/3 beat, basically being a hexagon edge but 3 taps.
As someone who grew up singing and playing instruments, I thought this game would be easy on account of rhythm recognition skills. I was sorely mistaken. I just beat this on normal speed for the first time after a solid 20 or 30 minutes I think. I'm also struggling with many of the speed trials from the main game. Props to you for putting in the time to get this good at the game. One thing I will say is that my timing has improved since I started a couple months ago, so I am learning haha
Yeah knowing instruments doesn't translate to ADOFAI as much as you'd think. I used to play piano as a kid, but it didn't help much aside from making getting into the game a bit easier than it would be for others who have had no contact with music. Learning to read and play ADOFAI is a skill of its own and it takes time to learn how to do it. The great thing about the game is that you can always get better and you're constantly getting better, regardless of what your skill level is. You can always push yourself with faster levels or faster speed trials and get better and better at them. Anyways, I'm flattered you admire me being good at the game but all it is is just playing the game for years hahah. I also struggled with main game speed trials back in the day, you'll get them eventually, you just gotta put in some time.
this makes me think a 1-finger completion is viable? 😳 i wanna try that on the entire dlc but i don't own the game xd (i might pirate but uh idk that's for drastic measures) gg's and props btw, you're insane
It is. Apart from T5-X and the EX versions i singletapped the DLC and all the main 12 levels. Also most of the extras excluding OFN, EMOMOMO and Le Nuit de vif.
update: got the game cause steam sale :D RJ-1 to RJ-5 peaked my interest on the double tap notes i can manip it in a way to hit it with a single finger xD although the song's pretty slowed down at that point so eh :/ edit2: nvm LMAO that's a lot of fucking minijacks on the actual song😭😭😭😭
