- A Marshall JCM 800 which is rebuilt with the Hermansson 5 gain stage circuit. It's an all-tube distortion circuit, no clipping diodes or transistors.
Other features:
• Tightness control
• Punch control
• 3-way tightness range switch
• 3-way punch range switch
• 3-way presence range switch
• 3-way bright switch
• 3-way mid boost switch
• 3-way more mids/dark switch
• New ground layout and preamp shields
Guitar straight into the amp, TC D-two in the loop, cab is loaded with Greenbacks.

This is insane, this amp is a totally unleashed, fire-breathing monster. I want it. The difference between just changing volume on the guitar is baffling.

I want to buy another JCM 800 to send to you and get these exact same mods done. However, I'm wondering what year the 2203 in thiis video is, and what year(s) you recommend I buy for these mods?
This is a brand new Marshall. I can usually buy these new and have them shipped directly to my workshop. But the waiting list is quite long for this rebuild.
