It's from above average to good, neither great nor mid. Even if you forget about the rumours and expected cameos, the story was way too simple/average. The focus of characters & their depth (especially, the main character) and the focus on concept of Multiverse were not good & enough. - the most important aspects of this movie (while story and focus on characters & their depth are the most important things in any film)
Some biased and typical fans and people who don't know much about real good movies just got orgasms from fights, first-time horror elements and brutality in MCU, Wanda's portrayal, unnecessary one-liners.... and they started calling it great and funny thing is that some idiots calling it a masterpiece and the best MCU movie.
We also got a hint of Franklin Richard's existence before wanda killed Reed Richards

One thing I hated about the movie is that they displayed a completely different plot in the trailer with respect to the movie. In the trailer they were trying to imply that Dr Strange would be facing repercussions of him fiddling with the time and multiverse ("The Natural Law") that he did in the Dr Strange, Infinity War & Spiderman No Way Home movies by THE ILLUMINATI which was a multiversal organization. But it turns out that the plot was just Wanda's Mayhem to bring her children back due to which the America and Strange were thrown into a universe which had a superhero group consisting of people with -5 Battle IQ called the "ILLUMINATI". All in all I was disappointed by the lack of cameos and the runtime due to which the movie was feeling rushed. It didn't live up to the hype!
A movie shouldn't all be about the Cameos. That's just a gimmick.

I give Doctor Strange MOM a 3.5/5. There are flaws like Dr. Strange's character, they Scale Down him, we all know how powerful Dr. Strange is. I mean I know Wanda is more powerful than Dr. Strange, but he is also Dr. Strange who tricked Dormammu who is far more powerful than Wanda. Second runtime, movie requires more 30 minutes. They could explore more universes etc.

1). They were not prepared for that level of threat, it was sudden attack.
2). They were over confident.

The Illuminati team shown in Multiverse of Madness movie is quite capable but we are all forgetting that it is the Scarlet witch they are facing. They were ignoring her as a threat and weren't prepared. Also Scarlet Witch is extremely powerful even for every member of Illuminati. The fight was justified because none of them could stand for more time against evil Wanda.

I don't personally think that the fight was illogical. Wanda literally can kill all those heroes individually within two minutes. She is extremely OP. The focus of characters & their depth (especially, the main character) and the focus on concept of Multiverse were not good & enough. - the most important aspects of this movie (while story and focus on characters & their depth are the most important things in any film)
Some biased and typical fans and people who don't know much about real good movies just got orgasms from fights, first-time horror elements and brutality in MCU, Wanda's portrayal, unnecessary one-liners.... and they started calling it great and some idiots calling it a masterpiece and the best MCU movie.
