J Krishnamurti is not someone to whom you can listen for entertainment or for knowledge. If you want to change your life, if you want to get rid of bad habits and you really meant to do something for yourself, then only you should listen to him. You can't take him lightly.
Understanding the concept of self deception and observing it within yourself is an entirely different thing.

The experienced appears to be the same but actually isn’t…that too arises and passes away. There is no permanent self.

I've seen people hold on to their believes/ideas to the grave. So i like to challenge that.
No permanent self is the free man. Nothing remains in him. And life flows like water through his beeing. But my experience with people is that most are unable to keep the self unbound. And things in the bundle become static and remain.

I think what gets lost in this discussion is the difference between ego/intellect willfully forcing change in ourselves/the world as opposed to the spirit being open to or surrendering to the natural changes inherent in the universe. The first example of change occurs rapidly or at least that is the expectation and the second example more slowly the way stars or galaxies or stones in a river change.
I want to change from sad to happy. I watch these friends have a laugh and the change is complete.

"The Krishnamurti" we are hearing and seeing is the outcome of all the lives he lived. It is the final result; a ripe mango with all the juices developed. But we are all unaware of his past lives and what journey he went through in all those lives. Krishnamurti can definitely say an authority is not needed because he speaks out of ripeness. But can it be true for us? The answer can be a yes or it can be a no. We may just be in the first few lives where we need an authority(a guru, a path) which we need to stick to and bring purity in all aspects of our lives. Or we may be in the same phase as Krishnamurti and then an authority may not be be needed.

I don't realise what i really am.....I live in the illusion that I am different from everything I think. Hence this separation always remains intact.
Cuz u r the same seeker, the Man Who whatch at the thought, u r not the thought. U r the One Who Watch It. U cant understand this in Logic. It Is what It Is, there's no reason to talk about or to discuss. U r the One Who Watch everything and stays in silence.

pretty much sums up the futility of the self help industry. Prescription that lead no where
I am created by a blueprint and in order for me to change the blueprint needs to be changed which cannot happen.
The only thing you can change is your perception of yourself.
Its like trying to change a flower into a goat, it can never happen unless the seed (blueprint) was changed before the flower had grown.
The tree forgets that the root is a part of itself. We look on the outside the answers that we must look on inside.

I have been for so long trying to put my finger on this but without words it was like something below the surface of the water. I could make it out but without clarity I could not put my finger on it. Now it’s like with his words and applying to the observations of oneself I am able to come upon these insights but I always feel there is another step I simply am lacking in seeing therefore I cannot take those steps consciously on my own 🤔
Friend I have seen you some places of k videos many time . I am also doing same kind stuff but apart simple thing I don’t have insight into some big things very small things apart . I really not encounter other human being who has, maybe some I never encounter one ,to have insight in big things of mind .

This could be the demand of a mind,as an observer,who,after chasing one observed after another,has not been able to lays his hands on that elusive unending bliss for which all this time and energy are being expended for !!!!! Again,"change",if defined subjectively, will be within the limits of our content of consciousness.Unless the mind is definite about what it wants to change into,and why,this action will be endless,and one lifetime will not be enough for it.When we understand that " change" can only be defined by an unchanging factor, introspection will accompany this demand,and there is a possibility of a "permanent change",in that the mind goes back to its original state of " no change".

I don’t get the question „How am I not to be I“ Can somebody please rephrase? Can I also say: „Why am I not I?“ Is this the same question?
We are all conditioned and in some or the other kind of bondages. We are born with imperfections like ego, jealousy, greed and fear. These attributes makes us belive that the dellusioned self is I. This happens due to lack of self knowledge and wisdom. We have to keep deconditioning ourselves, keep freeing ourselves and relieve from all the bondages which come as external factors as well as internal. That is when we reach near our real SELF “I”
