LIVE: Mozambique Police Fire Tear Gas As Opposition Supporters Protest over Election Result
Mozambican police fire tear gas at hundreds of opposition supporters converging on the capital Maputo. This comes as unrest continuous to rock the southern African country since the election of new President Daniel Chapo in October. Human rights groups say that at least 18 people have been killed in the police crackdown on protests since the Oct. 9 vote, which extended the ruling party Frelimo's five decades in power.
