The unique items for turtles will cost 500EUR. Calculated 3 different ways and came to the same conclusion. And that starting Turtle from Orange rank. So already 120EUR invested in hero.
I somewhat agree. This event is built as a "pick your poison" thing. This time around, people seem to have to choose between red items or soul stones. I chose red items with Turtle Coins as getting those seems more reliable than those Lab Coins. I will rely on luck to get the remaining soul stones to reach absolute star. I was lucky during the Lara event and this event gives quite more energy as free gifts or rewards. I do not care about the boss, it's always a grind and I absolutely hate that, even though the top tier prizes are terrific.
Never spend any currency on hero equipment if there is any other choice - use it for ascension resources or red artifacts or artifact coins or skin stones, or pets, or titans, or whatever else you can buy. Equipment comes so much faster than everything else nowadays with all the extra energy we get in events and guild prestige.

Have someone compared all 3 shop prices? Looked at couple of items (Unity of Extremes and Alucard's Amulet) and better price for them are in Ninja Turtle shop than Secret Laboratory shop. May be better is to take red ninja items from Secret Laboratory shop and not from Brawl shop, leaving Ninja Turtle coins for original shop. Of course amount of Secret Laboratory coins you get can define that you will need to take red ninja items from both shops (Brawl and Secret laboratory).
This is what my counting shown also. Took as example the Alucard's Amulet. On the Ninja Shop costs 17.500 and to the Secret shop costs 2 S.L.coins. Means 8750Ninja Coins each s.l.coin. If we take now the cost of the Manhole Cover that is 3s.l.coins will make it in Ninja coins cost it is 26250 (3*8750) ..but on the brawl shop it costs 37500. So for sure it is much much better to buy it from the Secret Laboratory shop.
@@NastaziaNightfire But the Festival Map shop requires you to spend Mysterious map moves in order to earn coins. That is map moves that you won't be able to spend later on the reguar Mystery Island map. That's what the trade off is. There may be stuff on the main map more worth your while if you don't ever plan on max leveling your turtles (or willing to wait). To make the FestMap worth the trade you also have to do good at the Brawl. You only earn a third of the equipment you need to MaxRed the turtles from the FestMap (if you use all 32 moves). That also means you have to earn the other 2/3rds from the Brawl Shop (which isn't possible) and another means (ever from the last 3rd of the event or from a later Turtles event giving the same equipment). Your best bet is to buy the Manhole cover from the brawl shop then wait it out (if you don't plan on maxing the turtles). I don't see spending the Mysterious Moves on the FestMap being worthwhile.

He should have said, with the brawl shop you now have the option to buy the red items with the ninja turtles coins. It is an option you did not have before in the shop.

So what? Best strategy for this game is not to fall into the trap of buy buy buy buy and just do what you can in your budget. I was thrilled when I saw a brawl event again...................NOT!! I always go through this as fast as possible without even looking, if I win, fine, if I lose, fine. The only thing I wish the developers would hand out is to more information what these items do when you buy. For instance, we can buy a manhole cover, nice, but only after we gained anough brawl coins and then the fights for today are over, so what does this cover do? And how much brawls do we actually have to win until we can buy them al and then what? Why do we always have to follow video's to find out stuff and only find these videos AFTER a lot of us already done their dailies etc etc, it's too late. So what i spend these new coins on? What I need and is the hardest to get: chaos particles.
I would generally say that Nexters is a for profit entity and you have to realize that going in. But this is really going to screw some people over. Why cant they just sync stuff like this so it all happens at the same time? There is already a lot of moving parts in this game.
It's deliberately confusing. They want us to make bad decisions because we don't have all of the information necessary to make good decisions and then spend real world $ to make up for it. I already screwed up because I spent turtle coins on what was available in the turtle shop only to find out later that they're the *same* coins needed to buy the red turtle items in the brawl shop. They deliberately made it overly complicated in other ways too, like having one turtle event running at the same time as a series of secondary turtle events with unknown currencies and rewards, etc. So 2 events, the regular season, Brawls, Mysterious Island, and all the regular daily stuff to keep track of. With all of that going on I apparently missed one of the daily tasks on the event map and now it's impossible to complete the quest.
Can the Ninja Turtles be upgraded to R/R+1/R+2 using Rarity Fair or The Gift of the Dominion? If yes then buying the red items isnt compulsory if you wish to play NT later on?!

You get them in the Island and in part 3 of the event. It is the turtle festival event. After doing all the mini bosses the last one which is the boss it will take you to the festival and you will need ninja turtle coins to use to try to get those secret laboratory coins. so is in 2 places how you get them. map or festival.
My concern is that while it’s a good amount of coins for upgrading, the relic is only good for 4 days! The brawl shop ends with the brawl, and the relic becomes useless after that

But why does it say I can buy a quantity of 5 manhole covers while if I look under items for the various orange and red levels of the TMNT hero it shows I only need one. And why can I only buy 1 Black Belt when I need 2? Maybe we have to buy items at both shops?

The total amount of Turtles Coins is staggering : 837500. I guess most players will have to use those Lab Coins for items. I was planning on getting everything except the Master's Black Belt from the Brawl Shop. Hopefully I can earn a gazillion of coins.
I must say that I don't get it... on what then should we spend SLC? You would need more then 800k turtle coins to obtain all "special" items so many players wont have enough of them to spend... SLC will surely help some (17 SLC you get on map are equivalent of 212500 TC)
I'm assuming you can save the SLC in your inventory and use them at any time in the future. The brawl coins you have to spend. Plus, there might be other ways to obtain "special" items as more of the event opens over the coming weeks.

Oops/ I already did. The brawl sucks eggs. I couldn't do any of it, so i did the missions to gain points to get the sewer tile. Now I have some serious energy saving to do now. I think I will wait until this brawl is over...hopefully, we can get defence points.

This is the absolute worst game ever! The only way you can increase your power is by spending thousands of dollars on it. There is no way to get any big amounts of resources for free. You have to buy coins and emeralds since every upgrade costs so many of each. Even with the events, you have to spend money buying coins and emeralds. You will only get a very small amount of resources by actual game play. You have to watch stupid videos just to get a small amount of resources of any kind. It is impossible to get through the daily tasks without spending money, and it only gets worse when your heroes get higher in power. Even some of the pieces you need for upgrades are almost impossible to get. There are several that you need 20 pieces and it will take you several days to get them, and that is only if you spend resources on buying additional energy. If you don’t, it could take weeks to get them. One example is an item that requires 2 rings to create it, and each ring requires 20 pieces. I have literally been trying to those pieces for over a week and still need 8 more pieces. I have used over 100 raids and I have only gotten 3 or 4 pieces. And once you do get all of the pieces, it takes a couple hundred thousand coins to create the damn thing. And you will only get about 100k coins if you simply finish the daily tasks. I don’t have a problem with a company making money on their game, but this game is impossible to be successful at unless you spend a lot of money. And because of this, there is a huge power gap between players. There are those dumb enough to spend hundreds of dollars every week on the game, and those that only spend a small amount monthly or not any at all. So when you fight other players in the arena, you have zero chance of beating the ones that have spent loads of money to increase their power. And those power ratings make no sense at all, you can go up against a player that is well below your level and you will still get beat. I believe this is done on purpose to get reluctant players to spend money. Sure, part of the game is about choosing the correct heroes and matching some to increase their power, but that shouldn’t mean that someone that you have nearly twice the power rating over should be able to beat you. And that leads to some of the way over powered heroes that are in this game. There are a few that can withstand attacks by 5 heroes and never die. Basically, this game sucks! I am ashamed that I have spent as much money as I have on it, which is only about $75 over two months. I usually spend about $20 a month on these kinds of games, just to stay competitive, and I feel the developers deserve some sort of compensation for their work. But this game has two types of players, those that spend a lot of money and those that quit after a month or so. My guild was full when I joined it, now there are only 3 active members left. So you have been warned, stay away from this game unless you are okay with either extremely slow (almost impossible) growth or spending a lot of money. I will stay for a little bit longer, but I have stopped spending money on anything but the Valkyrie gift and the first promo that gets you some emeralds and some other resources.
Lol, 20 pieces for the Pastor's Seal? If that is already bothersome to you, don't stay around. It get's way worse than that, the red items take 200 pieces to gather!
He meant on the secret laboratory shop. your ninja coins you could spent on the brawl shop, but you also needs ninja turtle coins in the turtle festival to try to earn those new coins. So those new coins you get at chapter 3 he saying to not spend on the secret laboratory shop. but is confusing due where then we should spent and use those new coins? those new coins you get them from 2 places, from the map and from chapter 3 at the end on the turtle festival.

Players are going to spend all of both currencies just on the red items. 300,000 turtle coins for just the 2 Black Belts.

You get them in the Island and in part 3 of the event. It is the turtle festival event. There is not issue using this new currency for the unic items. In fact, it is more interesting to use them and save the Coins.

The idea is the non-red ninja turtles items in the shop may be a better value to most, especially F2P that wont level up the turtles to R3

If you don’t, it could take weeks to get them. One example is an item that requires 2 rings to create it, and each ring requires 20 pieces. I have literally been trying to those pieces for over a week and still need 8 more pieces. I have used over 100 raids and I have only gotten 3 or 4 pieces. And once you do get all of the pieces, it takes a couple hundred thousand coins to create the damn thing. And you will only get about 100k coins if you simply finish the daily tasks. I don’t have a problem with a company making money on their game, but this game is impossible to be successful at unless you spend a lot of money. And because of this, there is a huge power gap between players. There are those dumb enough to spend hundreds of dollars every week on the game, and those that only spend a small amount monthly or not any at all. So when you fight other players in the arena, you have zero chance of beating the ones that have spent loads of money to increase their power. And those power ratings make no sense at all, you can go up against a player that is well below your level and you will still get beat. I believe this is done on purpose to get reluctant players to spend money. Sure, part of the game is about choosing the correct heroes and matching some to increase their power, but that shouldn’t mean that someone that you have nearly twice the power rating over should be able to beat you. And that leads to some of the way over powered heroes that are in this game. There are a few that can withstand attacks by 5 heroes and never die.
Basically, this game sucks! I am ashamed that I have spent as much money as I have on it, which is only about $75 over two months. I usually spend about $20 a month on these kinds of games, just to stay competitive, and I feel the developers deserve some sort of compensation for their work. But this game has two types of players, those that spend a lot of money and those that quit after a month or so. My guild was full when I joined it, now there are only 3 active members left. So you have been warned, stay away from this game unless you are okay with either extremely slow (almost impossible) growth or spending a lot of money. I will stay for a little bit longer, but I have stopped spending money on anything but the Valkyrie gift and the first promo that gets you some emeralds and some other resources.
Lol, 20 pieces for the Pastor's Seal? If that is already bothersome to you, don't stay around. It get's way worse than that, the red items take 200 pieces to gather!

He meant on the secret laboratory shop. your ninja coins you could spent on the brawl shop, but you also needs ninja turtle coins in the turtle festival to try to earn those new coins. So those new coins you get at chapter 3 he saying to not spend on the secret laboratory shop. but is confusing due where then we should spent and use those new coins? those new coins you get them from 2 places, from the map and from chapter 3 at the end on the turtle festival.
