NEW RIDGID 18V WEED TRIMMER AND LEAF BLOWER IN-DEPTH REVIEW

The specific details start at 1:18 if you would like to skip the context intro. This weed wacker/trimmer/sniper/whipper is great in my opinion. Quite powerful for the voltage and weight - more than I expected. Most of the time while trimming my yard I leave it on speed setting 1 out of 2 because I do not need the extra power for the most part. Changing the line in this trimmer is fairly easy too. The blower is good! It has grown on me some since filming this, as I have found more uses for it, but I would not say it is great. Very good, not great in my opinion. But, I am not much of a blower guy, so take that with a grain of salt. The blower does have some good power for an 18v. If you have any questions, let me know!

i have the weed eater & IT IS EXCELLENT!!! ... i own most of the Ridgid 18v tools and i am well pleased with them.

They're on sale with the BOGO Ridgid deals, each come out to around $90 after the hack. You think that's a reasonable price for those two products? I only have corded OPE right now and recently got into the Ridgid and Ryobi platforms. Oh yeah, have you tried using a Max Output battery on those tools? Thanks for the content.

I noticed the knob in the middle of the shaft, does it come apart and if so will it take different attachments ?

It does come apart. Looks like they may come out with some new attachments in the future to fit it.

Also what is the purpose of the piece of thin metal inside the guard? I think it will be on the way of the line. I was thinking of removing it, just 2 screws. But I don't know it's purpose

Not sure if I got a dud but the leaf blower is awful compared to the Dewalt, which is the same price with the current bogo. Supposedly a little more powerful than DCBL722B but it’s not even close with same battery (4AH)
