Debby downgraded to tropical storm as it moves over Florida, Georgia

Debby, which had developed into a category 1 hurricane as it made landfall Monday morning, was downgraded to a tropical storm as it moves over Florida and Georgia. Impacts to the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. are unclear but the region is bracing for heavy rain and potential flooding later in the week.

A big problem with the super soakers is that they prime the ground for the really strong hurricanes that come in September. we had a lot of multiple hundred year oak trees down in our neighborhood when Isabel hit in September of 2003 in Virginia.
