But if both were to fire off a single attack with nothing left in the tank for a second one, Yuta would probably win.

That's the thing you see, Satoru's Six Eyes filter cursed energy so efficiently that he can make his cursed energy consumption rate nearly equal to his cursed energy production rate, due to which he loses almost no cursed energy while using an attack. Yuta has more cursed energy reserves than Satoru, but Satoru is more likely to last longer in a drawn out jujutsu combat than Yuta.

Good eye, Magy, catching the similarities between Yuta and Yuji and how Gojo intervened to save both of them. Although they are similar in some aspects, they are also very different.
Gojo never misses with his new student introductions 😂Doing the goofiest stuff possible but somehow always making sure everyone understands what's going on.
The backstory of Yuta and Rika, how her life was tragically cut short and the way in which Yuta "saved" her - hits you right in the feels. The little revelations we get along the way - Yuta cursing Rika and not the other way around, Yuta being an actual prodigy and distantly related to Gojo, how he just wants to feel accepted and like he deserves to live - they all help shape both Yuta and his relationship with Rika a lot, while also giving us some more information about Maki, Toge and Panda.
Rika's first apparition - gives you chills when you realize just how powerful she is, how much potential Yuta has even thought he is constantly crippled by doubt and fear of hurting those around him.
Geto being behind everything that happened makes for quite the juicy reveal and it ties into season 1 of JJK. The events of this movie take place in the years 2016-2017 and the events of season 1 during 2018. In this movie, Maki, Toge and Panda are first year students and during season 1 it's mentioned how they're second year.
Finding out more about Geto - the cult he leads, his hatred for regular humans, his team of curse users and even his goal - it paints a very creepy picture of this previously mysterious antagonist who kept appearing during season 1. It's tragic, seeing the interactions between him and Gojo - proud of you for figuring out they were quite close, before Gojo says he was his best friend.
It's quite the shock to see just how good Geto is when he fights and easily overpowers Panda, Toge and Maki. During his fight with Yuta, we can see how far Geto pushed him, with both of them unleashing their "ultimate" abilities.
31:03 Rika being jealous is understandable, even though she is a curse, she probably still has the mind of a child, the mind she had at the moment of her death.

Seeing the Kyoto students once more is a nice reminder of their abilities but Todo with his delulu behaviour takes the cake as usual 😂
40:25 really hits you in the feels when you realize how well Geto and Gojo knew each other - Gojo knew Geto wouldn't kill the sorcerers defending Yuta and Geto knew Gojo wouldn't kill his followers. Really makes you wanna see more of their past, how they became such good friends.

Geto Suguru is very strong and he actually could win in this battle, if only he didn't split his army. There's a reason why he becomes what he is in this movie. My heart breaks for him instead of for Yuta and Rika.
