Thanks! Honestly we don't use sap too much in practice as there are easier better tools like etabs and safe. Sap has very limited use, perhaps I'd you wanted to study a single wall under some specific conditions, for bulk design work there are more efficient programs.
Will you please make a video on Arches with UDL on them too, using SAP2000. It will be very kind of you. It will really help us alot. Because use of SAP is fastly growing.
@@AFMathandEngineering I can,....But I am.simply not sure whether my method is correct? Because there is some difference between the answers of the SAP2000 and books.
Hi AF Math & Engineering, thanks a lot for this video. I have trying to find a SAP2000 tutorial on Modal Analysis of 2D frame to find the eigenvalues and eigenvectors as what discussed by Anil Chopra Structural Dynamic and Earthquake Engineering.
Yes I have seen those videos by CSI but they are a bit different in some ways. As in Anil Chopra, the given values are column stiffness (k = 12EI/h^3 N/m) and mass (kg). It assumes that the beams' moment of inertia is much greater that it will not deform, thus meeting a shear building analysis.
@@AFMathandEngineering I was just wondering if it can cuz I recently had homework with a sinusoidal cantilever beam having that formula, I wanted to be sure if it's correct

One of the very few SAP 2000 videos!! Great Tutorial
What an amazing training for everybody, thank you very much. Finally, I found for use of SAP2000.
I think this man should be my personal tutor , really loved the tutorial
Please make a video showing how to change the sign conventions.
Thanks for making these videos.

Good job man, i had a project related to trusses and it was really useful
Great, glad we could help!
Thank you very much your video is really helpful 🙏🏻🙏🏻
It is important to add a area of elements. Finite element method considered axial stiffness in analysis.
Thanks man!

Thanks so much ! How come you don’t have extra videos for SAP 2000. This would really help !!!

Hey good idea..but you should be able to do that from our trusses video I think?

Hi AF Math & Engineering, thanks a lot for this video. I have trying to find a SAP2000 tutorial on Modal Analysis of 2D frame to find the eigenvalues and eigenvectors as what discussed by Anil Chopra Structural Dynamic and Earthquake Engineering.
thanks for the feedback.. have you tried csi's videos on etabs or sap? i believe they have some tutorials on modal analysis.

I see. Do you want to send me the example by email? I could check it out. Afmatheng@gmail.com
Hi AF Math & Engineering, I just made it right. Thanks.
gotlboys great, glad to hear.
Can it solve problem dealing with integration? Like w=10sine(π/3) etc
I don't know why you'd use SAP to solve a formula for you?
@@AFMathandEngineering I was just wondering if it can cuz I recently had homework with a sinusoidal cantilever beam having that formula, I wanted to be sure if it's correct
@@elnabz4731 As in the load was sinusoidal? That sounds ridiculous and would never happen in reality, maybe your teacher is evil?

Why S.F. diagram in Sap is not the same as in your question?
The values are the same, no?
