Honestly Little Mix not being as big in America is probably the best thing that happened to them. The American Music market is messy and ruthless. Now they built like a cult following over here and I think that’s a lot more beautiful than commercial success.

Little Mix is such a safe space for me, in a world where music has become quite often only a way to earn money and fame, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie have proved that there is hope for humans to grow mature through music: their kindness, the genuineness they release it's the best feeling ever. They proved not only as artists the power of music through the lyrics of their songs, the message they share but also as women that true frindship exists, not just for the cameras and the show, that someone can find support and help to achive their dream. They are to me such angels, I do not mean to idolize them because they are humans, yet I have to say they are the most beautiful humans I have ever known. I couldn’t agree any more. I absolutely love them. In a way i can relate to most of them… i keep saying always if i needed a person to CONFIDE IN, Jade would be my person. If i needed someone to INSIPIRE ME AND BE LIKE A SISTER WHEN IM IN TROUBLE IN LIFE AND I NEED A LITTLE PUSH TO SET IT RIGHT, Leigh Anne would be my person. I mean I just discovered these highly talented ladies and they go on a hiatus wtf 😭 Also I would very much like to thank Perrie for not accepting the position of lead singer. I saw their entire X Factor journey and the judges at one point really pushed her to be the lead. She was what? 17 or something? The fact that she had the grit and will force to say "NO" to that and continue on being equal in the group speaks volumes. I mean I'm not denying she had the most powerful voice of them but she was so young, the praises could have easily got to her head and she could have tried to take more parts and basically the center stage, I wouldn't even blame her because she was so young. Speaks a lot of her emotional maturity. That kind of inequality could've actually broken them up. I remember my heart stopping when that judge openly said she had a better voice than the rest like damn! 😫

These women know how much all of this means to us and they’ve gifted us the most graceful break ever , I got to say I’m sad there won’t be new music or performances after the tour but I’m gonna take it for what it is, a break. I have abandonment issues tbh so my genuine fear is that they won’t ever come back anytime soon , I find it have to have faith in anything that isn’t set in stone . But I’m going to completely have faith in these women when they said in their statement “we are not splitting up and we have plans for more tours and music and performances for the future” . That was the most telling part of their statement, this genuinely is just a break and the most weak deserved break ever. I’m not even sure these 3 realize how much they need and deserve a break, and they will start to realize it more and more as time goes on how needed it is . I think what we are mourning is that we won’t ever have the little mix so many people fell in love with , when they were together 24/7 and didn’t have time to even think for themselves, and when we get them in the next era of little mix as a musical group again, it won’t be in that same machine they were once running in , it will be with more respect for what’s going on in their personal lives . They’ll have to schedule out a couple months dedicated to working to little mix stuff and the difference between little mix and other groups is that they will always have the desire to come back , and they said it themselves. I’m not the most trusting person ever but I trust what they’ve said. They went out while they were on top and left us wanting more , and I know they won’t just leave us hanging

I love the fact that even their answers are the same (most of the times) and they're in completely different spots. They're so in sync and connected to each other. This is real friendship/sisterhood and I'm here for it😊
I don't like that people compare little mix with others bands, they're so unique! Even if they never comeback, the fact that they'll be rooting for each other's careers and keep on communication instead of hating each other is a powerful demonstration of their beautiful and real friendship. I love them so much, they're so inspirational and strong, having the pleasure to see them grow into the amazing women they're now has been the best part of being a mixer. Little Mix forever 💜

There are plenty who tried and failed compared to those who tried and succeeded for more then a few years.Camila Cabello was lucky Fifth Harmony never had a lot of success in alot of countries i think. Melanie C. had a small success for a few years. Beyoncé did it but i think that was the idea from the start really. Only really successful solo-artist that started off in a boyband or girlband are Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake but i think both have a bit more talent. And btw the point i was trying to make to begin with was them saying they will be back. They won't be and as i showed above don't ex[ect too much as solo artists.Their talents are more visual then musical i think on the long run.

10 years into a career with Little Mix is really very magical, like I grew up listening to these women and now I'm an adult and I keep seeing these women grow and form families. Little Mix taught me so much and especially to love myself and be a stronger woman. They are amazing, everyone should know who Little mix is. I love this girls!

I never thought that when I put on an episode of TXF that this is where I’d end up ten years later. As a Canadian Mixer, I’ll never forget them opening for Demi, their first show being in my city and briefly meeting them was so surreal. I’m so proud of them and everything they’ve achieved. When I got lyrics from Wings tattooed, you couldn’t take the smile off my face or keep the tears from welling. These girls are everything to me. They’ve given me strength and courage and confidence. I'm South African, 18 and I remember encountering Little Mix for the first time when I was in Grade 4 (10 yrs) and falling in love. I remember my bestie at the time budgeting for their book, we went to a book sale and it costed R70 and we split the cost for 1 book and we still share it. Little Mix is on the list of artists who helped me grow up. They lowkey grew up with me.

i been with these girls since the get weird era, and going back to see the birth of little mix and how much they have evolved now stuns me, they are so damn powerful and hard working and they deserve the universe. our girls always put us first, never left us hanging, for ten years straight, dealt with all the abuse from their labels but still went strong for us. i love these girls to bit, the fact that two of the women are mums now makes me tear up, they really are the best girl band ever. no doubt.

I’ll never forget being a 1D obsessed teenager who fell down the rabbit hole of UK X-Factor, leading me to Little Mix. Being in the US I’d make sure to watch whatever I could find on UA-cam regarding the girls. I had a little dingy iPod where I bought only Little Mix songs (Wings of course being the first). Witnessing Perrie’s engagement, then breakup and all the other things they went through in real time feels like a different life. I’ve been a mixer ever since and truly love these girls so much. I was devastated after finding out they toured with Demi and Ariana, because I would’ve immediately bought tickets if I’d realize. It’s been a dream to see them live. Fingers crossed they come back soon.
First of all, this is truly beautiful. I have always loved and respected Little Mix. All 4 original members are stunning, talented women who deserve all the success. They are truly Queens!
I have felt this "break" coming for along time, the fact that Between Us was a greatest hits album with only 5 new songs was my first clue. Then they started signing all these solo management deals. That's when I started preparing myself mentally for a breakup.
I personally believe it's a good thing. I mean they've given us 10 years and 6 full length albums with a bomb 7th album of greatest hits. I am also ready to hear them creating solo music especially Leigh. I just feel like there's so many things she can explore solo that she couldn't do with Little Mix. I want to see Leigh drop some R&B bops and also incorporate some hip hop. Like Fresh Leigh from Wings vibes as far as styling.
I also need Jade to do some Diana Ross inspired modern disco music. Continue being the champion for LGBTQ+.
And Perrie sis come outside and hit the stage. Perrie would be so dope on Broadway! I also want some ballad bops from Perrie.
Last, Jesy keep coming outside! I'm waiting on that full album.

I'm so grateful to have support this band the past 10 years. They proved everybody in the industry wrong. They went out there, and break records after records as a girlgroup. Seeing them win Best Group at the Brits was probably one of the best moment I've experienced as a stan. I'm so proud of what they achieved and I will forever love them, no matter how much months or years they will take a break from this wild girlgroup life

Little Mix can never be replaced, the void when they are no longer active would be felt greatly during the hiatus, I mean, they've raised the bar so high for girlgroups everywhere, especially Western Girlgroups. I see most of the girlgroups in the system now becoming really huge in the home countries but World Domination like LM? It's going to take a lot of hardwork and grace to pull off what these queens have done in 10 years. They are the standard and would continue to be the standard!
UK girl groups have a major advantage over girl groups from other European countries. it has nothing to do with hard work.

twice and blackpink are already taking good places globally (and tbh blackpink was bigger than LM already globally), in europe or the us there however isnt really any groups to my knowledge on a bigger scale, however like said above, its way different to come from the uk than rest of europe, when the uk is a main market on its own already. but lets be real, after one direction, it was bts who took the stage, there hasnt been any big western boygroups. kpop is setting the bar high for newcomers in western countries after LM and one direction, who were able to secure their spot beforehand. any groups from western countries are gonna have a hard time breaking to the top now now 1D and LM take a step down. hopefully if and when LM comes back they come with a bang and take a proper spot in american market to make them more global.
@@mann7298 I know kpop is big in the West, I was however talking mainly about Western Girlgroups, even the girlgroups in America themselves would need something special to be really huge cause Kpop is taking over. That is why I said most of them would be really huge in their countries, right now, the only big Western Girlgroup is LM and when they're in hiatus, it'll be interesting to see if the others can compete with the kpop girlgroups for World Domination.
