I can’t wait to see it built! Congrats on your sobriety! I recently got back into helis. I was into it about 14 yrs ago, I have a NIB trex 600efl pro and an Avant Ultimate 90 NIB. NIB JR 12x radio.I can’t believe how time flies, but anyhow thats really cool! I hope to see that 800 flying soon!
Was going to say at 120 is probably fine for a 14s. But I can't say anything because I just bought a 60 amp for my T-Rex 450. The last ESC was 35 amp and caught fire so overkill is better
ya, considering im just going to poke around with it, im going to try out the 120. it is funny that nowadays a 120 is in a 500. but I figure batteries have come that far in the last 10-15 years.
@@mykel1969 for real. But the capabilities on the new stuff is amazing. Everything is a wallet breaker though. I want to build a nice 700 eventually, but either the Tron, XL, or sab all cost north of 2500 for everything I'd need. Maybe I'll get the tb70
i see your slot car track hanging up there. i have the old 1977 tyco nite glow empire 1000 set along with 3 other smaller sets with 7 magnum cars. more fun when your older than when i was a kid. i also have the trex 600e pro which i havent flown yet.
hey Thanks! I wound up moving it to a buddies house where we had a lot more room. Yes, re visiting old hobbies with new tech is fun! All the things we did as kids have been changed considerably with tech. Get that 600 in the air!!! good luck!
Heck yeah! Man I want to see that fly. I have always wanted a Trex 800 as well! Great find!
