So sad that this video is 4 years old... and I ONLY FOUND IT TODAY!!!
Wish I'd found it much earlier *cry*
that is toxic thinking, get rid of that luggage too
Hmm. I have an issue of packing stuff in boxes and leaving for later. Gotta figure out how to go digital with papers and books.
Wow, that made a lightbulb go on in head. Relates with all the craft stuff I have accumulated.
Hey Jake, great podcast! I've been living with quite literally only what I can carry for the past three years. I am a full-time traveler, working online and I am either staying in hostels or if I do rent a room, buy whatever I need, then sell it or give it away. It's great fun and gets easier with practice. I also don't have a home base, that helps immensely and I would also recommend that. If you'd like to discuss, send a message. :)
Same experience here. Unfortunately, some stuff is needed to live comfortably, so it's a bit of a compromise.
Thank you!
Shoooooot, my stuff are 2 dogs and 7 cats and they own me. How could I ever get rid off them and live with it?
Animals are not ‘stuff’.
But if you like skiing & invested in nice clothes necessary to ski, why don't you simply put them in a drawer (that is clearly empty due to selling/ridding of your un-needed stuff) for when you want to ski? Why is that such a problem? Why does it make you feel you need to ski more or whatever? Maybe is was just a shitty choice for an example but if you like skiing once in awhile & bought expensive necessities why get rid of them? Odd.
Because making a large investment in clothing for a hobby you only do once in a while is a waste of money.
