This is stunning. To counter the jab like that, to defend the push kick or even the teep - it looks so simple, yet it's so hard, nearly impossible to come up with that on your own. This is the best channel for amateur Muay Thai practitioners. Hands down, it is.
Yes! I went to this gym in June 2019. I meet Kru Atachi, but I missed Kru Namsaknoi. I wanted to come back but, I had to meet some friends the days after. I hope to come back this year.
Sylvie, ive waited a long time to see you with namsaknoi..2 of my greatest inspirations. I wish i could watch some more.. 1more flick with a legend and im all good.. Changpuek Kiatsongkrit..
He used this exact technique to knockout Lamnammoon. It's rare you find a fighter who can actually teach and breakdown his own techniques whilst making it simple to understand.
I used to train but I stopped and I’m definitely going to continue in the future and I’ll be looking back on this video for additional tips for countering
For those asking, he is currently at Attachai's gym now. Last I spoke to him he said he would be here until year end. I suggest you email them (Attachai Muay Thai) to check before you book.
size really makes a differents haha. Recently saw Namsaknoi corner for superbon and the size difference wasn't that starking. But he's super huge when he's standing beside you
sylvie, there's this movement in muay thai where you take an angle, one hand goes high and the other parries the hand while you take an angle. it's something I see all the time but never seen taught or explained. do you know what I'm talking about?
@@8limbsUs thanks Sylvie , I was wondering if his Muay thai camp at Koh Phangan is still the location where he trains at or he has moved elsewhere, planning for March or April based on the covid situation
I am really crap, but what I want to know is why I am trapped, or feel trapped, into attacking face to face, rather than slipping and attacking from a side, like this "Emperor," Lomachenko, Manny Pacquiao, and Tyson Fury. It is partly because I only know (and then badly) how to attack from the front, but it is also a psychological thing that makes me keep facing my opponent, almost due to manners. I think perhaps I need to see my opponent as a block of something inan imate and to ignore *its* front face, and move around *it* rather than seeing *it* (that body that I am attempting to attack) as a person, that I need to keep facing, (as I repeat myself) almost out of manners. Perhaps I need to use a big bag more. Big bags have no front.
Namsaknoi (and many others) make eye-contact. Psychologically you're still "face to face" or engaging while moving side to side. If I were talking to you and had to step aside or pick something up, if I maintained eye contact you wouldn't feel I was being rude, right? Maybe try it. I'm working on it a lot right now.
I don't believe I have anything much on that. But my website is www.8limbsus.com and my patreon is www.patreon.com/sylviemuay if you want to take a look.
Hey slyvie, can you release some full sessions on UA-cam for some of us poor folk. Or kids whose parents won’t allow them to use their credit card on “useless stuff”🙄
Omg it’s Namsaknoi!!
You’re getting trained by freakin Namsaknoi!

This man is living legend. He is an emperor of muaythai.
He well deserves his nickname. And he is so humble and kind.

Watch the bodies response, how does the opponent react, and have an answer for it. If they block high go low, if they block low go high. Love it
I started trainings a month ago. So glad I found The Library, so early on. This stuff is golden.
Good luck and have fun with your training.
Greatest moment of my life so far has been the time I spent training with him, so intelligent and just an amazingly cool guy.
Namsaknoi the legend
Memories of legends muaythai thanks you so much from Thailand

Where is namsaknoi today. In Wikipedia it says the gym he opened closed down.
For those asking, he is currently at Attachai's gym now. Last I spoke to him he said he would be here until year end. I suggest you email them (Attachai Muay Thai) to check before you book.

Any idea where namsaknoi is at now?
Very cool! Is this at Rattachai gym?
This is Attachai's gym in Bangkok, where he often teaches when in the city.
@@8limbsUs Thanks for the reply, Sylvie. Does Namsaknoi have a permanent spot anywhere, or is he nomadic now?
its beautiful to watch you grow Sylvie..all the LOVE from the birthplace of KALI!
Aaw-Weeii! ✊🖒👊

it's something I see all the time but never seen taught or explained. do you know what I'm talking about?
Namsaknoi teaches that in this session.
Are you in Pattaya end of August September time ? Or traveling to gyms . I would like to visit the gym
I never know my schedule that far in advance, but I'm always at my gym unless traveling for a fight.
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai ok great will get in touch when we are in Pattaya
Where is that? He disappeared off the face of the earth. Is he still at his place on Koh Phangan?
This was at Attachai Muay Thai gym in Bangkok. He was there for 1 month, if I'm not mistaken
@@nuralimali6878 Man. Every time I go there, nobody knows where he is. One day...
Where is the emperor training now
He just got back to Thailand and is in the last days of quarantine. Nowhere yet
@@8limbsUs thanks Sylvie , I was wondering if his Muay thai camp at Koh Phangan is still the location where he trains at or he has moved elsewhere, planning for March or April based on the covid situation
@@saeedahmed7468 no, he no longer has a gym in the South. He was at Attachai's in Bangkok but, again, it remains to be seen.
@@8limbsUs thanks again Sylvie , most appreciated
Is it namsaknoi very tall or Silvia is small! How tall is him?
He's around 5'9" I think, which is kinda tall for a Thai.

@@8limbsUs Thank you! I usually do not make eye contact so this may well help (help me move, and help make the opponent feel that I have not moved).
Thanks Sylvie. Will defo purchase this. Did you get a chance to go over any clinch work? His throws/sweeps in the clinch are incredible too
Yes, we did; and yes they are.
This was shot in Attachai's gym, right?
Yes, he's there through July.
I wish i could catch him when i get the chance to visit thailand..attachai is a great guy.
Great video btw lol
Do you have any videos about flexibility training or any type of website or blog?
I don't believe I have anything much on that. But my website is www.8limbsus.com and my patreon is www.patreon.com/sylviemuay if you want to take a look.
