The Cobra MX515SPBI petrol 3-in-1 lawnmower is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 675IS InStart engine with it's handy push button start and long-life Lithium-ion battery which is able to give up to 75 starts before it requires re-charging. No more pulling to start the lawnmower, simply push the button and away you go. The 675 Series engine is designed to deliver unprecedented reliability and performance, this series of engine has established itself as the preferred choice of walk-behind lawnmower engine and an ideal choice to power Cobra lawnmowers. The 675IS engine is built in America and it is designed to deliver high torque (9.8Nm delivering 2600rpm) which easily powers the grass cutting blade making your job much easier, it will handle longer grass with ease and cover up to 1000m² and with the low-tone muffler, working is made that little bit nicer.
The MX515SPBI offers more choice when it comes to dealing with the grass cuttings.
It comes equipped with a mulch plug to enable you to mulch your grass clippings back into the lawn, mulching lawnmowers recycle the grass by finely cutting and re-cutting the clippings; as the clippings decompose, nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil meaning you can cut the grass and fertilise at the same time.
If you don't want to collect the grass cuttings or your lawn has become overgrown, the MX514SPB also comes equipped with a side discharge function; simply lift the side blanking plate and insert the side discharge chute allowing the grass to be discharged in neat lines to the side of where you are mowing.
If you are collecting then the large 60 litre grassbag has you covered; it is made from a strong, high quality fabric which enables a strong free-flow of air adding to the grass collecting capabilities.
Cutting can be done at one of the 7 available pre-set heights, ranging from 25mm for a superb, low finish, right up to 75mm which is ideal when faced with longer grass. The adjustment is very easy to make, simply use the lever positioned at the side of the machine to choose the height best-suited to your lawn. This model also benefits from a cast aluminium deck giving it a much longer working life; the easy clean wash system will also make cleaning off grass from the underside a breeze, simply connect a hose with the blades in motion and grass will be quickly and easily removed for you.
The self-propelled system is driven by a robust and reliable 5-speed gearbox which really does take all of the effort out of pushing the mower and with the five pre-set speeds ranging from 3 km/h right up to 4.2 km/h, you will be able to find the speed best suited to your working pace and needs. Slopes will even be easier to handle thanks to the system, let the mower take the strain our of cutting the lawn.
