Restaurant Meliefste is a cosy gastronomical restaurant in the picturesque town of Wolphaartsdijk in The Netherlands. Wolphaartsdijk is located in the province Zeeland and known as a popular holiday destination. I have been eating a few times at Meliefste. It's always a adventure as he is a creative chef. I've seen him growing as a chef. Also the kitchenteam has grown (literally too). He started with 2 cooks, including himself. And see now... Meliefste got a Michelinstar in 2021. I can see a second one coming in the near future.

Och nee hè, dit is weer zo'n chef met toefjes puree, toefjes saus en poeder uit een theezeefjes. En met een pincet in de hand... Voor mij echt eten met verse ingrediënten alsjeblieft.
