They have to switch it up though.. They opened with Nihilist for their entire touring schedule of 2017. Their 2011 tour with BMTH/Parkway Drive/Deez Nuts/Of Legends was amazing though. They opened with Early Grave and it was sheer pandemonium. Nobody in Toronto expected Sam to request that we all just stop, chill out, relax and enjoy a brand new song next, which was Devil's Island.

I prefered brixton academy the year before again. The emotion in that venue was amazing, easily my favourite Architects set to date!
Thats awesome that they can fill Wembley, but watching Architects in seats would be fuckin lame.

As someone who doesnt record or check my phone other than to check the time during my favourite band...I still cant fathom how someone could have the audacity to have a go at a stranger who wants to record the show for no reason. Hope it didn't ruin the uploaders night.. sounds like he wasnt enjoying the show as much as he'd like to think he was and is just an angry donut!

It's distracting and irritating to permanently have someones phone screen in your peripheral vision. Turning the brightness way down would be a step in the right direction

Sam originally said they would never play it live because its so difficult for him to get through it because of the lyrical content written by their guitarist who lost his life to cancer.

You can see the back of my head lol fame at last. What an incredible show they have come along way since I first saw them in 05 I think 🤔 playing to like 200 people. Sad that tom wasn't there in being but his music was there and he's in our hearts always. Thank you for posting this

No I was at the end of the aisle at the back of my row. The person commenting was in front of me so his view was not affected in anyway.
Lol being in the way of anyone doesn't exist at concerts or shows.

@callum weaver magician - i was in cardiff too, i thought the sound was alright, vocals were buried a little, but i was standing right in front of the left speaker system so my ears were blasted
It sounds kinda horrify, instrumentals are great but the vocals... are sooo weak, particularly the cleans. I know, the record is well tuned, although I hoped that Sam would be sound in live as good af. I had just clicked on the ending of "Wasted hymn" and it's actually freaked me out. Yeah, it's sad, I still like Architects so much, but it's painful to see them lives.
DayDream you must some kind of hearing defect to be claiming this. Carter is a god-level vocalist and without ANY doubt, one of the best screamers to ever walk the earth

You must some kind of understanding's defect, 'cos you wrote "without any doubt the best screamers to ever walk the earth" - yep, he is an amazing screamer, but clean vocal sucks, and if you listen to the songs like "Wasted hymn" and you will like it - soooo, I don't know, it's weird
@@daygreem I think he is just tired or getting sick here. Every musician has an "off" day the audio quality doesn't help neither.
Cool show but not impressed with the vocals. I hate going to a show where the crowd has to sing to get the band through. For fucks sake, the back vocals or lack there of we're just that. Lacking

It is their Holy Hell tour. So mostly new songs. They got so much songs to pick from these days. Next tour they'll probably mix it up a bit more with oldies like Alpha Omega or even better Early Grave. I was there but not really disapointed cause I knew their setlist cause I also was at their Brighton gig. The new songs are bangers (live) tho. I've seen these guys 8 times live know and know on album tours they play mostly new stuff and the tours inbetween albums mostly a mix.
@@bd5067 I was there also... Only thing that would have made it better for me would have been Early Grave and We're All Alone instead of These Colours Don't Run :-D
@@liam4483 wow wow wow!!! These colours don't run is a classic that should never be replaced!! I agree with Early Grave or Follow the Water or any song from Hollow Crown but not to replace these colours don't run!! No way! Still an awesome gig tho
